We were listening to music and monicat mentioned it was "prom music" from the 80s-90s, we were all talking about proms and posting big hair/prom pics just for fun. :)

i forgot about that!

you know, if my prom picture was good as yours was, i probably would've kept it too. : )

some things are better left submerged in the murky waters of the memory....

Last night I got to spend a few hours with some old friends whom I haven't seen in the flesh in close to 20 years.
One being "the baby" of the group,whom I thought was at least 5 yrs younger than me,turns out she's 42 now and still looks like she did when she was in her twenties. (I loathe her! jokingly)...the other being my ex-lead singer of one of my previous Metal bands,who is now turning 49 this month. We couldn't believe how much time has passed & all the craziness we've all survived. It's all a bit surreal seeing people face to face again. I didn't fully realize until last night just how isolated I've been for so long.
