Today and currently I am finishing up a 16 hour shift. I am tired and night shift is the slowest shift in the world. If I don't do somethin soon I will fall asleep. 3 more hours and I can legally fall asleep in my car or drive home with all my windows down so I can feel the air jolt me awake. Other thoughts: why do I always get this nurse coffee and how do I remember how she likes her coffee even though it was like a year ago since I last got her some? Other talkings: flies are not cool, everything they land on ends up at the dump.

There have been a couple of times where I thought I MIGHT be truly loved and accepted, but I was either having to prove I was good enough or I was just being used.

First off, I didn't like the post because I liked that you feel that way......I liked it because that's a pretty personal feeling to share out in the open. I hope that means your healing.

I've been thoroughly manipulated, back stabbed, betrayed....from women I was in love with, you name it just about and it's happened. But in the midst of the chaos I have been lucky enough to have a few very real and amazing experiences. It's tough putting it all out there and finding someone who won't take advantage of your openness. I think that's why everyone is so closed off and it's so hard to "click" with people these days. No one is really themselves until you really spend a lot of time with them, because we've all been through the above at the very least once.

I wonder how many people that go out on a date and it doesn't go well chalk it up to "well we just aren't a good match"....when it's really, both sides are sandbagging because they are worried and guarding their hearts a little TOO closely. A Catch 22 type situation

I'm sorry that you have been hurt, too. I don't mean to convey that all experiences have been negative, but they certainly have not been what i would have hoped for. There have been some fun and even helpful experiences, just not one of authentic love and acceptance.

Just got home from a Memorial service for my friend Pauline. What a beautiful tribute to her life.

Wow I would love to have a job like that. I'm not trying to knock you for saying its boring. I love hospitals (I know, that's weird) and peace and quiet too, and the job I have now is very stressful and I never know when the next upset customer is going to show up or how many times I will get yelled at by them each day. Its rare that a day goes by when I don't get yelled at or threatened or just given dirty looks because there are so many issues with people's health insurance, drug prices going up, doctors who take forever to call the pharmacy, etc... which is why I am looking for a hospital pharmacy job now.

Thanks Zero, it's OK. She was 84 and she had a couple of strokes. She was truly a good mentor to everyone that she came across. But I know she's in Heaven at peace.

Sometimes when my daughter acts out, she get's all huffy and puffy and I have to try not to laugh. She says the funniest things without even knowing it. She's mad at the Kindle because she can't win her game. I said, you break that Kindle you buy it. She said, Well I don't have any money.
