Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Gen 4:3-7 3 In the course of time Cain brought to the Lord an offering of the fruit of the ground, 4 and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering, 5 but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell. 6 The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”

Luke 15:10 - Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Galatians 3:13) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 .) That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

I do wear a small cross pendant on a thin chain around my neck, a gift from my husband after I was saved. I pray each day that God will shine through me and others will see that, not just the cross around my neck. I want people to see my happiness and ask me about it. I want them to recognize the glow I feel inside for what it is, the love and peace of Christ, so I can share this love and peace with them and give glory to our Lord through witnessing to them.

I personally found tihs to be for me the only way to pass on this new life is through Christ and can only be achieved through God's words through me via the Holy Ghost he gave me
Seeing Matt 10:16-20 personal and to anyone else God reveals this to as well

[h=3]Matthew 10:16-20[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. [SUP]17 [/SUP]Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues. [SUP]18 [/SUP]On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. [SUP]19 [/SUP]But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, [SUP]20 [/SUP]for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Think, is this for you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to be led rather than lead and hope to be led
Does not hope to be led fall short of being led. I mean is to hope for and ask please a form of doubt the same as when one adds to their yes answer with; I promise? Should not the yes answer be enough or the no answer?
So to say I believe and believe are apart are they not?
I say this seeing many a trying to beleive in full by doing works, and continue to fall short and repent over and over again, attaining, gaining, feeling good about what they are doing, and then comes another tidal wave, and sin, in anger over it, not ever coming to the finalization of the cross, trying over and over to do it right perfectly.

If this is you, or anyone else reading here, praying you come to terms, by God through Son you are forgiven. Then go to God the Father and seek from God not man to know truth that keeps you walking in God the Father through Son, no more self works masquerading as God's works As this world has taken on this gloss and is very convincing that it is us that have to do something more than what is already done for us through Son

Hebrews 9:15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

"[/SUP]He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good."

Proverbs19:8

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.

Exodus 14.14

Absolutely we as believers still have no righteousness of our own ever, it is God's only and by Faith in his work for us at the cross, we are partakers in this amazing salvation, and one either appreciates this or takes advantage, and thus God does the works needed through us or we do them, thinking we have righteousness of our own somehow and are fooled and here comes a messenger of Satan to buffet us

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Thanking God "I" need God, and God is Faithful to remind me when I think "I" know, I get reminded "I" don't. why? Because "I" need God

Thank you for those two verses from Corinthians brother.............in my opinion they are not "considered" enough by believers today............in a few words, they teach much............

God bless

Acts 19:10) And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
11 .) And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 .) So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

[h=1]1 John

1 .) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 .) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

This one line of scripture helps us Christians stay focused on the lives that we are living to honor God by staying on the task (goals) HE has set for us.
Nehemiah 6:3
“I am doing a great work and I cannot come down." NASB

Stay on the right path friends and, avoid putting road blocks on the the path you that you and God are walking.

Is that because the flesh has to work to get credit or we have it work as a response in thanksgiving and praise, from being led by God in the power of the Holy Spirit the same Holy Spirit that led Christ?

No roadblo0cks can get in the way of God, each start out and continue to start it with I am dead, flesh wise and alive to God to hear God what my instructions are for the day.

The disciples were amazed at Christ's miracles, and when Christ was done with one day he would go out and pray each morning asking where to next, get his instructions and go and do those instructions

One day the disciples found him and said to him lets go back where we just were, the paople were amazed and are talking, thrilled, let us go back and give them more, Excitement, excitement, the flesh id excited.
And Jesus said I have my instructions for the day, we are going over yonder.

How many of us go back over excitement of others, are we looking for something more than life from God?

Even if, when since we believe, what if one does not work, does that make God 's grace void to that person?

[h=3]Romans 4:20-25[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]20 [/SUP]Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, [SUP]21 [/SUP]being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. [SUP]22 [/SUP]This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” [SUP]23 [/SUP]The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, [SUP]24 [/SUP]but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. [SUP]25 [/SUP]He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
