Well tonight has not been a good night for me. My brothers and I lost our family business to a fire earlier tonight. Pretty much the only thing left is the walls of the building and a barely recognizable shell of what once was my tow truck. We are just thanking God that nobody was at the shop at the time and nobody was hurt. I posted a pic of what it looked like when i got there tonight. What hurts the most is the fact that my Grandfather put everything he had in that building way back in 1936. I lost material things tonight which can always be replaced. Nothing can ever take away all the wonderful memories that I have from growing up there. Our faith is strong and we know That God is with us through this whole thing.

Oh no!!!! Oh man that makes me sad. My heart aches for you, I looked at the picture just now. I know it's a very tough time but I'm encouraged by your outlook on it and reliance on God. I pray that your trust in Him continues and that you can all grow together through this.

Great attitude. Always be grateful for the moments/memories you had in your time in that building. Hopefully you guys can rebuild and have many more awesome memories. Glad to see no one got hurt.

Praying for you brother. Though I know material things are temporary, I totally understand the memories that can attach themselves to those things, which makes them oh so special. Glad you aren't hurt.

Sorry to hear about your shop jitterbug, but I am glad you and your family are at least safe and unharmed. I hope you be able to rebuild better than ever and I am confident you shall, you seem to me to have a strong spirit.

Sorry of what happen to your shop... usually stuff happen for a reason but Dont give up God has something better... keep your head and your eyes on Christ! Something better will arrive:)

Jitter, we are so sorry. Your attitude is exemplary... I wish I could have half your faith and will to stay positive!!!

i'm pretty ticked off. in the wave of people with actual crisis, it's pretty crummy. i hate that stuff like this only makes me more skeptical that i already am.

Father God, please help me and any others with a bad attitude about this news to have a better heart attitude. help us to have a spirit of forgiveness instead of contempt.

I pray for jitterbug, that he will grow through this experience, and that he will draw closer to you. whatever emptiness, loneliness, lacking or wanting will be sought and found in You alone.
