and would that be? to stop doing the things which condemn you?

Its a wonder anyone can be free of these blind guides. Thank God for the Lord Jesus Christ.

I will leave this thread with these two questions;

The bible clearly tells us that the rebellious don't receive the spirit ? what does this mean it means that if you dont have a sincere heart to put away the old you don't receive the Grace,

Maybe they look at the tree of Good and Evil, And see the tree of life? I don;t know. I can not explain it myself?

The tree of evil showed us what the law showed us, What sin is. It is the tree of life which we must partake of to be set free of the death caused by the tree of good and evil.

It is like they want to eat the tree of life. but then go back and continue to eat the tree of good and evil. Whats the point?

The law you speak of was given to PROVE our condemnation. it was a minister of death, because ALL do not obey every word is condemned.

So why would we want to go back to what can only condemn us, And not look to the spirit of love which uncondemned us?

It makes no sense.

lol..

If you love your enemy. The final outcome is you will obey the Lord. One does not need the ten commandments to realise this or accomplish this, It just happens.

If you do not love your enemy, You will sin against them, and in turn, against the Lord.

One does not need the ten commandments to realize this, It will just happen.

Thats the law of Love

well i only spoke of the ten commandments when i spoke to you .

You know this, i know this, so your saying that the ten commandments condemns us at this moment in time i am praying for you and i just want also to say that what you should say is this ,, i want to follow the ten commandments with all my heart help me farther and then what you should never say is i don't want to break one of the commandments because when you think of breaking one of the commandments you may slip up but if you do slip then God has to look at you and see why you have slipped if it is something you are sad for and something you no longer wish to do then all i can say is this Matthew 9:5 4And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, "Why are you thinking evil in your hearts? 5"Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, and walk '? 6"But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins "-- then He said to the paralytic, "Get up, pick up your bed and go home."…

And this

Jesus Delivers the Adulterous Woman
10Straightening up, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?" 11She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more."

Yes it does. for those who have not applied the blood of Christ to their sin by placing their faith in Christ. it does.

orr those who have applied the blood. It does not. And it never will again. This is what Paul says.

Better yet.

Admit you can not keep the ten commandments no matter how hard you try. And start instead to follow the leading of God, Which is to love your neighbor, Your enemy, Your spouse, Your children Your co-workers. and anyone God brings into your life. And you will not have to worry about anything.

or focus on the law, And lie to yourself that you are a righteous person who is keeping the ten commands (as well as all the other commands) and be like the pharisees who can not even see the sin in their life.

I agree with the Sabbath day to keep it holy, and that this commandment is not negated. There is a deeper meaning than a specific day however. GBU brother. You're good

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. 17And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

ooops, guess that last line was a bit...inconvenient.
Not inconvenient at all - the law is still the law - it was just fulfilled through and in Christ Jesus. Just because something is fulfilled doesn't negate that something - it is just no longer needed - it served the purpose for which it was written. The 10 commandments are a type of guideline for our lives and you can see where they are repeated in the church epistles - so have they been destroyed? Have they become void? We have a new and better covenant and the 10 have been combined into two commandments and the way I see it they are still there for our learning. We are to live peaceably among all men by loving God and loving others as we love ourselves. The ten commandments nor the Levitical law ever made it possible for us to have a personal relationship with God the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ.

And for those that still abide by the 10 commandments - I guess they serve some purpose - just remember our righteousness; righteousness to be obtained by good works - is as filthy rags.

This is widely taught in all major seminaries. That speaks volume.
They had seminaries in the first century too.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. :p

Keep it up brother. Some would certainly watch you very carefully whether you could obey the smallest letter and the least stroke of the law. They are eager to step all over you with their spiritual understanding.
If they truly know the spiritual law, they would not use the letter and stroke to judge.
The same then, the same now.

I will admit that i can not do it alone but i will not admit that the farther can help[ to do it,

It is written in scripture that the farther can make you as white as snow and as you know the farther does not lie, This is not rocket science this is niether something you need to research this is something very simple and not something you should lose your mind.
If the sprit is with thee because you have asked the farther with all your heart to help you keep the commandment the between you and the farther you can do it , yes no ?

As for the two commandments you spoke about as i have already stated they are in the old testament too when jesus spoke these word he did not say here is a new commandment do not follow my old ones, he said if you love me you will keep my commandment, thats it God bless

On the contrary.

if people truly knew the letter, they would not continually want to go back to it. Because all it could do is condemn them.

People who want to go to it do not understand it, They could not. Because all it could do is judge them.

The law judges them, Not us..

if you do not feel judged by the law, and totally inadequate, then the law is not doing its job.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. :p
The boldness of Peter and John backed up by signs and wonders.
The signs and wonders today is we are blue in the face and we are still talking ;)

[SUP]37 [/SUP]Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[SUP][d][/SUP] [SUP]38 [/SUP]This is the first and great commandment. [SUP]39 [/SUP]And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[SUP][e][/SUP] [SUP]40 [/SUP]On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Can you explain what this means?

No doubt!! Just mention the law of God in a positive format, with high regard, and saying it is good for believers today, then look at what happens. The conversation tears apart the Word of God rather than edifying one another and putting it all together. I am convinced that those who want the law changed, or want it to vanish into the past, are truly scared of it. If God is love in the OT, He is also love in the NT. If He is graceful in the OT, why cannot some see that His law is not against His own grace?
