Lame? There's not even one hour between your two posts! How are people meant to reply within that time?

I don't know how accurate mine is. I did the Singles survey. I answered the questions in relation to my family and friends. Some questions I didn't answer but went for the alternative because I haven't been in a romantic relationship and ever experienced them (holding hands, kissing etc.).

Here's mine:

Quality Time - 10 (I don't think this is quite right. Maybe it should be an 8)
Physical Touch - 8
Words of Affirmation - 6 (This probably should be an 8)
Receiving Gifts - 4 (Maybe this should be a 2)
Acts of Service - 2 (Maybe a 4 is closer to the truth)

Uhh... you do realize that the majority of the regulars aren't even on the forums right now. They're asleep or getting ready for work and likely don't have time to sit and take a test. Consider the time you post things before criticizing people. I was going to come in here to take it and post it, but i''ve changed my mind after seeing the attitude.

Yep that's about right. It's too bad most of these are tough to express over the internet. Well we can all give each other lots of words of affirmation I guess. And gifts can be sent to….. oh wait, those don't make me feel particularly loved apparently.

Yeah, don't touch me, don't spend time with me, and don't buy me gifts... But I do like to hear I'm loved and I feel loved when someone makes my tea for me. (Interestingly, when my ex husband stopped making my tea, I knew our relationship was over)

What is more interesting is to find out how you SHOW love to others. Clearly, I have a double standard.

My daughter's love language is physical touch, i have to force myself to hug her and fluffy up her hair or let her be physically close.. cuddly .. etc

Well I'm gonna be upfront and say I dont put much stock in silly internet tests. But for some reason I just love answering them lol.

So here's my results. Might have a few nuances with the results personally, but I'd say by the test's parameters its not too far off from teh truth:

6 Words of Affirmation
12 Quality Time
1 Receiving Gifts
5 Acts of Service
6 Physical Touch

(Also I like Nadia's idea of answering from the paradigm of how you would react to the questions being applied to another. So I will go take the test again and post those results in a short moment.)

(Sorry for double post)

Here's the results of the test from the Other Person Paradigm (I personally read each question from the view point of "she would..." replacing "I would..." from assumption that is what I'd expect a potential love interest to answer to fit the paradigm.)

The results from the paradigm standpoint are:

7 Words of Affirmation
7 Quality Time
3 Receiving Gifts
6 Acts of Service
7 Physical Touch

So basically my breakdown of both results are you can show me ya love me just by putting up with me and talking to me. And the sort of woman I would be desirous of would enjoy spending time with me as equally as she should enjoy me serenading her with love poems and kisses lol. Didn't really need a test to tell me that so much, but it does put somethings into perspective I suppose like I guess you shouldn't date me if you are like santa clause giving out gifts (cause I am suspicious when people try to give me gifts thinking they are just trying to bribe my favor or for some reason even when I know they're not actually trying to bribe me I feel embarassed when someone buys me gifts since I ain't rich enough to repay.)

Anyways, just my own personal thoughts about me personally in reflection to this test. Kudos for the topic either way though, very interesting test for personal reflection and study of the CC.com citizens' mindsets in my opinion.
