God condemns homosexuality throughout scripture. You are calling God a liar when you quote mine scriptures that show God forgives sinners and accepts them into His kingdom
for the purpose of saving and sanctifying them and toss out all the scriptures that condemn homosexual iniquity (e.g. deviation from the right path) and say that people don't need to repent from a life engaged in homosexual acts with other people.
Homosexuality is not OK for a Christian to live in.
It is a great sexual immorality that needs to be repented from.
Saying it is not is false. Comparing it to other sins to try and justify it is logically fallacious.
Falsely attempting to justify the sin of homosexuality by misrepresenting God's Word to say that God's love covers a continued "lifestyle" of engaging in homosexual acts without
repentance only incurs greater judgment to the false teachers who make this false assertion.
Those who misrepresent God's Word to "justify" a great sexual immorality His love
intended to save and sanctify people from so they "may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way" are deceiving people caught in sin that God's love is designed
to deliver them from.
"Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live." -Romans 8:12-13.
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
Such
were (e.g. past tense) some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God." -1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
The scriptures of love and grace are NOT designed to empower a life of great sin but rather to
facilitate salvation and sanctification FROM such a life.
When you say the opposite, you act as a false teacher.
False teachers are condemned in scripture along with those who choose to live a life of great sexual immorality with others without ever repenting from it.
It would be far better at the judgment to simply have admitted that what you were doing was in contradiction to God's Word and that you were struggling with it from a place of genuine repentance for grace is always available to the genuinely repentant.
Claiming that you don't have to repent from such a life, that it's covered by love and grace so you can go on living in it is a state of great deception.
"Then He [Jesus] left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, 'Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.'
And He said, 'The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels.
So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear." -Matthew 13:36-43 (NASB).
In Revelation 14:14–20 two harvests, grain and grapes, are depicted. In both cases God’s covenant people are forever separated from their enemies. The two groups are never again to be together, due to an inseparable chasm between them (Luke 16:26).
The biblical picture is that of judgment
spurring believers on to righteous living NOT I can live a life of great sexual immorality and wickedness never repenting because God paid for me to be able to live like filth on earth and loves me anyways as I continue unrepentant in a life of great sin and iniquity. If you believe that, then you are deceived and maligning the other half of the Bible that says OTHERWISE.
This preparedness for God's kingdom is not simply a matter of intellectual knowledge but of a believing response to God’s grace
in how they are to live their lives.
Paul applies the need for preparation to the church. He urges his readers to prepare for the appearance of Christ. Those who miss out do so because they continue to deceive themselves (and others) and practice evil (while justifying it even to maligning God's Word). These are eventually caught unawares.
Galatians 5:16-26 - But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh... Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions...
How can you walk by the Spirit of God and engage in gross sexual immorality with another person or persons.
I know plenty of single celibate Christian people that cannot find a suitable mate. They do not twist God's Word to justify fornication or homosexual acts with another person. What makes you think these godly people who chose not to engage in sexual immorality won't be present at the judgment of those who did and maligned God's Word to try and justify their sin?
Maligning God's Word to justify a life spent in pursuit of sexual immorality has serious (and if not repented from eternal) consequences. When people are willing to go to such lengths that they create heresy, deceive themselves, and deceive others simply to continue engaging in sexual immorality: eventually God gives them up to it.
"Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another." -Romans 1:24
"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." -James 1:22
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons." -1 Timothy 4:1
On and on and on and on... all those verses you toss out so you can pretend that one can live an unrepentant life of great sexual immorality with other people and it's all good in clear opposition to scripture.
The Bible says that sinners are righteous in their own eyes and Jesus said in John 9:41, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains."
A material number of early gentile pagan converts to Christianity (that joined Jewish believers) were ex-homosexuals.
You're cutting God short to assert that He cannot change them. I know a number of ex-homosexuals that are happily married today (to members of the opposite sex).
They chose righteousness and pursued God. They didn't malign His Word to justify their sin and end up fully deceived and given over to it by God.
Enter through the narrow gate for it leads to life and stop being a stumbling block to that narrow gate for those caught in the snare of sexual immorality.
You go on with your bad self Brother and condemn, condemn, take God's place and condemn, are you doing this? By your posts it seems you are? But you decide that you are righteous or not?
1 Timothy 1:15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus
came into the world
to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
To all whether Homosexual or not I plead to all to seek for God for I know God is seeking for all through Son and not by being a tyrant at all. Ask for God's Mercy all of us, seek that out and start the personal relationship, that God says he is our friend, and went to the cross for us all to redeem us in the Spirit and for us to daily kill selfishness of the flesh. This includes Heterosexuals as well, Who have reprobate minds too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Romans speaks to all, not segregating sins
