Welcome Angel! I went through the same exact thing you did. I left Christianity and became agnostic for about 2 years. I faced the same frustrations and anger. So many questions... so few answers. However, I knew the consequences of atheism. The full consequences... It means no purpose, no value, no meaning. Let that really sink in and ponder it. If atheism were true, then nothing matters.. We can live under the illusion that things matter but they don't. At the end of the day, you're nothing more than a machine for propagating DNA. So, obviously that's something to chew on.. But that's an emotional appeal. (Still it's not one many atheists seem to take to heart.)
Anyways, this isn't why I chose to return to Christianity. It's because at the end of my studying(took about a year), I found there to be a lot more evidence for God and the evidence for atheism to be severely lacking. There's plenty of evidence God does exist. Bill Nye vs Ken Ham.. You watched one debate and jumped to that conclusion? (That was a horrible debate btw). Let me give you tons more to watch. If you want, pm me and I'll send you links to the debates as well as titles of books written... as well as some of the arguments for God's existence... The Kalam Cosmological Argument, the Moral Argument, the Teleological Argument, the Ontological Argument. Do your research before jumping to conclusions. God made us rational beings. And I can promise you, He may be hidden but He gave enough evidence that those who seek will find Him.

Hi angelnicole. Scientist will say one thing one moment, down the line, a few years later, tehy will say Oh sorry, it was wrong, and then they give a new theory. They come out with all they discoveries, and SO called Proof's. But what they are doing, is scamming the governments, and even in some cases the public for Money so they can look into the so called discovery.
There are some scientist out there who are amazing, and discovered fantastic things. But evolution, is there downfall. because the scientist you been listening to, are false. They been trying to deny God for years and years. I believe the enemy is behind a lot of these Scientist. and the problem is, that you are listening to much of the wrong thing and people.

I don´t know if you are really concerned for YOUR faith or what MANY people think (and want you to belive as truth).
First: I don´t care what those theories have said. It´s easier to believe in GOD rather in men.
Two: Will you believe I have seen two stars moving in the darkness of a starry night? I was used to read about those Maggi who came to visit Jesus, after He was born in Belen... I had some doubts, because I never knew "stars" can move as fast as an OVNI... There was a night when Monica and I saw two of them, flying that sky where we saw -at once- thinking it was a colective illusion we both had: It wasn´t an illusion.
We were praying and asking GOD to give us a sign (that "OVNI" were a sign we saw with awe). We wanted to know what to do, we prayed, and that sign appeared in the sky... (I think I wrote on the subject, somewhere else). Does this prove anything? Yes! we were asking for a SIGN and be both saw it and get it (I´m talking about Monica and I). It proves those maggi on the Bible saw a "star" pointing out wher to go to meet the Lord Jesus (just allow me to call it a star, but it was not a star, but an UFO).
Three: There are many things we cannot grasp or believe unless we see it or prove it, but I´m not the only crazy nut who have seen those signs in the sky. That "theory" could be lived out by those who had their chance to see it and, the evolution, serves to "prove" men are "smarter" than GOD... Do you believe it? I don´t.
you are RIGHT when saying "religion is an invention", but the moment you see, by real experience, what´s real and what isn´t, you´ll be saved from theories to walk your own life, no matter what other say (although crazy people think they´re not crazy). Just think of Moses staring at a burning bush. Was it possible or not? Just look at Jesus ascention... Was He taken or He had some wings "to fly"?

As I said... There was a time I torn several Bibles, i wnated to force GOD to talk to me, etc. But I lived several experiences that convinced me HE IS REAL, more than I am "real"... Hope He takes HIs time to give you the ATTENTION you need.
The only thing I know is that He is slow to some answers, that He needs Us to SEEK Him with the whole heart and, of course, if you are not seeking Him, He can ignore you (too), because that is what we often do with other people around.
You are not ignored! I have felt that, too. Cheer up! He will give you a proof, someday.

I'm filled with hope and sad at the same time that you have this struggle. We all have at some point struggled with what we believe. No as you cas see in the many long post some are still struggling with what they believ and that's ok. The dangerous part is you have to sift through all the junk yourself to find the gold.This is not a real complicated walk we often make it so with our leaning to our own understanding. Somethings we may never know and I'm ok with that too. Do't spen so much time on vain and foolish questions that will often gender strife and lots of confusion but better try to focus on living the best life in Christ that you can with what you know right now. No it willnot be easy because you are all over the map in your thoughts,just take a breath slow down enjoy reading some bible and ask questions no harm in that, but as I stated be careful of some of the answers you believe. I'll be praying for you.
