Cubbena let us look at what makes us free. And what is that FREE... Free from what?
Ok here we go I hope you all see that everything I say is in the Bible and can be confirmed in the Word of God.
Nuber one... Jesus says FATHER sanctify them through Thy RUTH... Your Word is truth. We cannot go to father ANY other way. Jesus is the Word and Truth. And all who is THROUGH HIM are FULLY sanctified.


But we also know the WORD is GOD HIMSELF! and so is HIS NAME the WORD OF GOD... Wow so let us look at what THe Word Of GOD is... It is Jesus made flesh. It is God Himself. It is the Truth. It is the NAME of Father, Son and Holy Spirit... ONE NAME.


Now let us look what God says about this Word of GOD... God says FIRST.. In the beginning was the Word. So it is the oldest thing we can think of. OLDER than creation of stars and universe. Next. It is TRUTH! Ah! If God's Word is truth then EVERYTHING NOT in it is LIES! If one person wants to add tot he Truth the Word is not Perfect. If one person wants to take away it is not perfect. So I will accept the Word as God's Truth. The Word is the NAME of God and Son and Spirit. Rev 19.

He (Father) sits on a horse and His coat (the Holy Spirit) is dipped in blood (The Son) and His Name is: THE WORD OF GOD.


AH! Ok now we know THE NAME of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. So God said Go and baptize them in THE NAME (one Name) of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.... Baptize them in what? The living Water.. .The Word is also the living Water Jesus has to give... WOW So if I now use the Truth to type a message here to Chubbena, I amd actually BAPTIZING HIM IN THE NAME OF FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT... WOW!


So let us see what happens then... Jesus said you shall know the Truth and the truth shall make you free... THen he says If I make you free you are free indeed! Ok So let us look what god makes us free from...

If we know the Truth then we know the lies as well, because lies and the Truth will NEVER gel. So if something is not in the Bible, it is propably and most likely false. Especially if it has to do with God and His will and NOT FOUND IN SCRIPTURE then it is CERTAINLY false. Like this falling over thing when people lay hands on others... And that Benni Hinn sick jerkings and jacket waving...IT IS EVIL! Not in scripture... Onle ONE person fell BACKWARDS in the bible and he died on the spot. A king that hear both his sons died in the war.

Now let us see what we are made free from... Sin we know, False teachings we know, Our old selves we should know, our old hearts we should know. our old minds we should know. And even all false teachings we should know. But we are also made free from temptation. from the wicket of this world and now the DEEP one... from our own flesh!

When we know the truth are we set free from flesh? How can God take my spirit to be IN HIM, and HE IN ME? Jesus asked the Father this... Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am;
Note BE WHERE I AM.... Not will be it happens here and now! Where is Jesus? Stephan looked up and saw Jesus on the right hand of God, is that where I will be when he is in ME?

So when I am sanctified THROUGH Jesus where will my spirit be? In my flesh? How can it be? My flesh CANNOT enter into Him, but HE can enter into my flesh. Like Paul says.. I am CRUDIFIED with Christ. Yet Paul was Saul way AFTER Jesus died. Saul the man that killed the Christians, did this WAY after Jesus was crucified... So how could he be crucified with Christ? Be being DEAD to the OLD SAUL, and then God made Him the NEW PAUL with the Spirit of God Himself FULL IN PAUL. Where is Saul? crucified with Christ. DEAD!!!!!

Look here.... Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
This Paul did.... to this manner.... I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Now did Jesus give HIMSELF for me only on the cross? Or does He give HIMSELF for me also in the SPIRIT? Does Jesus give me HIS SPIRIT when he takes mine? God says ALL who are IN CHRIST (these DEAD OLD PEOPLE) is HID IN GOD WITH HIM...
Where is God? Where are these people HIDDEN?

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
WOW!!!!!
Now THAT is HOLy,,,, to be HIDDEN IN GOD WITH CHRIST... WOW!

Great truth ,thanks Cobus, reminds me of 1cor.1 God's powerful "calling" "in Christ" Christ is our wisdom Sanct, righteousness .all we need and God's power makes us alive to Christ, the "truth, way , the Life " "of His doing you, we are in Christ. elect before time and called in time, God's timing is the most important element in sal.. We must never force anyone into a faith only decision. and make them hardened to the real truth that sets sinners free from bondage to sin to new life in Christ, transformed by the power and love of God in Christ. being holy is having the mindset of the word, being holy means many many things, it means so much and not out of reach, and being holy also gets easy the more you say no to a bad way of thinking, being holy is not about how many piercings or ear rings you may have but about saying no to sin when tempted or when a bad way of think mat come your way, as the mor this more you do this the more holy one becomes, that's it God bless,, i bolded out one sentence because being holy is being free from all of mans flesh full desires,, this love not war,, anyone born of God no mans words can do them any harm no more being holy is also not hating someone that someone would like you to hate,amen

Being "made " holy is being renewed in the first righteousness of heart that Adam was created in. Adam lost his righteous nature when he sinned ; But God restored it to them after God killed the lamb to cove them with tunics of skin. God had also renewed Abel but not Cain. Love to all. What the symptom is like was my first and foremost question because unlike OT, the NT did not give a clear definition.
I believe the bible says through the cross believers are justified but justified does not necessarily mean holy or Peter wouldn't have said:
"As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy."
Cobus in post #121 said it very well, we have to understand every word coming from His mouth to distinguish the truth from lies and go from there.

Obeying God and keeping His Covenant makes one holy...

Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Conduct is the criteria...

1Pe 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Being holy is something that we have a part in.
