Hey Everyone,

As I was driving home from a very long week, I decided my comfort food of choice was going to be a box of raisin bran (I know... I totally live on the edge... all that bran!! :)) And it wasn't going to be just ANY kind of raisin bran cereal, but rather... the kind with the raisins so heavily coated in sugar that they actually grit between your teeth... mmm, yummy!!!

I was really excited to see a box on the shelf (I hadn't had it in a while so I wasn't familiar with all the varieties) that boasted, "EXTRA Raisins!!" Woo hoo!!! I was practically humming to myself as I got home and poured myself a BIG bowl... (Hey, I get excited about food. :))

However, to my dismay... there were only about THREE raisins among the entire amount I'd poured. What the hee haw??? Three raisins from a box of "extra raisin" raisin bran??? Seriously, I wanted a refund!! (I probably shouldn't joke about this, seeing as I've worked in many stores where people actually did demand refunds for these kinds of things.)

What things in life have been your own "I Want a Refund" moments? Maybe it was something you were really excited about (a game, book, movie, show, event?) that didn't meet up to all the hype? Maybe it was time or money you'd invested into something or someone that wound up being a huge disappointment? (I know someone out there is going to say, "Seoul, I want a refund on any time I've spent reading your threads!!" :) And that's ok. :D) This thread is meant to be light-hearted but maybe you have something serious you'd like to share as well--maybe there's a time in your life you spent on all the wrong things and wish you could get back.

For anyone with serious regrets, I would like to share this Scripture: Joel 2:25, 26 "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locusts have eaten... You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you."

What are the things that you wish you could have a refund on? (It's good to know that whatever it may be, God has the ability to cover any refunds in our lives.) :)

I totally feel your pain, Nod. I have a dear friend who LOVES Twilight (mostly because of the books) and made me watch something like three of movies with her (the things we do out of love for our friends!)

I told her, "I can totally tell they were vampire movies... Because I feel like hours of my life have been sucked away."

REFUND!!!

Did you check the bottom of the bag, Kim? Maybe they all settled there during shipping.

Silly as it sounds, I thoroughly shook the bag before pouring myself any subsequent bowls. There WERE a few more along the way... but I honestly didn't feel there were that many more than a regular box of raisin bran.

Sigh. Perhaps I'm just too demanding and expect too much. I suppose the next step would be trying out for one of those reality shows... "The Real Divas of Breakfast Cereals..."

You've all probably figured out by now that I almost always have henna/mehndi on my hands. I love the intricate patterns, clean, crisp lines and the overall beauty of it. One time I was at a fair and there was a henna booth so I figured I would get it done. When she was done, I wanted to cry. Worst $100 I ever spent and I would like a refund. Here's a pic don't blame me if you have nightmares! ;)

I wanted a refund the first time I bought a bag of Doritos, and to my horror discovered that half the bag was air. Anyone remember the good ol days back when the bag used to be filled to the brim? Now they give you half as much chips packaged in a big half empty bag, and charge more than they used to :(

Every morning owners of big companies wake saying, "How can we fool them today"
