Where did I say there wasn't agenda by SOME? Part of the problem with this has been SOCIETY has NOT dealt with male on male sexual abuse. For far to long that has been swept under the table as if it was NOT possible. I have never said that type of behavior is acceptable. The answer is ridiculously simple Elizabeth. Those other sins are not being promoted by gov, media, society, and EVEN some Churches as just fine and dandy. AND if there was a huge push to promote fornication or adultery or drunkenness Christians would be just as virently opposed to that.

I don't think pointing out that homosexuality is a sin or accepting it as not sin is the problem we are having. I think that our problem is we don't know how to handle sharing the truth with homosexuals. Surely, for fear some have accepted homosexuality and support and vehemently defend it.
The important thing to do is to exhibit the fruits of the spirit at home and abroad. So that when a homosexual asks or tries to talk with us about homosexuality we can, with all gentleness, say "I was once a sinner and when I came to God, He did not leave me in sin. You're right but I was thinking more along the lines that fornication and adultery may hit closer to home for most members. IF they spoke against that as much as they did homosexuality, they may be seen as hypocritical.
As far as promoting fornication and adultery it has been happening for years and we no longer notice it. We are desensitized to it. It's on TV, in advertisments, governments, and in churches. Even on this forum.

How is it a greater danger to society? Fornication isn't just about having sex. It is an act that can lead to consequences that are permanent. All sexual sins can lead to permanent consequences. I don't believe God just randomly chose sexual acts as forms of sin just because it was sex. We are created as sexual beings which was His doing. I do believe He kept in mind what sex leads to and creates which can lead to additional sin and situations that one cannot turn back on. One can stop sinning, as I did long ago when it came to fornication, but I still have to deal with the consequences of my actions for the rest of my life. I am a single mom, and while I love my son he lives a life where the father is absent. He doesn't live in the Godly household where a mom and dad are loving and present, and contrary to what you and many be believe that is a danger to society. More and more people are having babies outside of marriage because no one honors marriage the God instituted. It is damaging. It is wrong, and it is against God.
