Pray for our CC family who are in and have been in area
of the Tornado's. Has anyone heard from Toska ? She
would have been in danger zone last night. There are more
to be occurring tonight, tomorrow up until Wed. These have
been vicious and please check on your friends. Some are
without power and may not be able to come on to let us know
how they are. We will trust the Lord to keep them all in
His care. Amen .....

Have been prayin for a while now...

Great !! She and rest of CC family will be glad to know we care and pray
for the best for them. The damage has been horrendous and it is not over
yet. I had a friend call me from the bad one at 9:30 EST - Sun. night and
it had just gone through. She was in her storm shelter and the bad one
was 3 miles from them. She had no idea of how much damage was done
even from the winds. No elec. and she and family were going to her Mom
and Dads because they had elec. So, we can hope Toska and and all
our family from CC who live in that part of the US are safe. May the Lord
be with those who are still getting it. Bless you. ~ Bless all who are praying.

Father I agree with jo asking You to help those who have been totally wiped
out of all possessions. WE ask for help to come to them and more than anything,
may they find You truly care about the people who are lost both spiritually and
physically. Lord God for the path that the tornado is taking now through the
other States and up to our part of the USA we ask for Your divine protection.
We will praise You and thank You for sending all the much needed comfort. IN
Jesus name ~ Amen

I've been thinking and praying for Toska all evening, I really do hope she's ok. All this worrying is making me sick to my stomach, but we are all family here, and we do what we can for family. Have her PM me if she gets on here. Much love to you all.

Wow, this made me tear up. Thank you all for the prayers. I honestly did not realize that some of you would remember where I lived.

We were spared the worst of the storms, they passed a little to the north of us. We did get a lot of rain, hail, thunderstorms, and high winds. But nothing compares to what happened in Mayflower and Conway. The loss of life saddens me very deeply. I pray that those who died knew Jesus.

May God Bless You All, thank you for caring so much.

JK2, I'm praying for all your safety during these tornadoes. I havent seen Toska on here for quite awhile, but seeing as how she liked your post, she must be okay. :) She's like me, flitting from one place to another, never staying in one place long enough for anyone to catch us!!! :p LOL!!

We're not old, lady.

Man......

No, don't pray for that. Pray for their families, that they may know Jesus before they die. hahahaha

All is well in my area. We had some rotation but nothing too destructive. Only a few trees down. I'm location in Tennessee right on the Alabama line. A friend of mine did lose a relative so please keep them in your prayers.

What at makes tornados extra scary in the south is with all the trees and hills it's more difficult to detect if a tornado has touched down. Even with a trained eye it's been proven more difficult than those on the plains who can see one from miles away. We get very short warning here.

Please se continue to pray. The storms are gone but many have died. Some as close as 45 minutes away.

Depending on where you live.........there will be another round of severe storms across Alabama and Eastward today. More powerful tornados, thunder storms to come.......

Yesterday it all started about 3:15PM here in North Alabama, and went on through 11:30 last night.

All we can do is prepare as best we can, keep an eye on the skies, have the TV, Weather Radio on, and PRAY!

God willing, no more casualties will occur today/tonight...........so far 28 have died since Sunday night with all these storms moving across the Central part of the Country.......and the Southeast.........

Yes the storms are still in South and moving upward to my area.
We normally don't get the horrible tornado, etc, but can be very
close enough to do damage. Still keep praying everyone. ~ J~K~2

I am glad to hear that you are okay, too. A friend of my husband's lost his aunt in the storms. You are right about the tornadoes being hard to detect. Where I live is very hilly, it is hard to see them coming. We had one hit less than half a mile from my house a few years ago. We never did see it and, believe it or not, nobody got any video of it. The damage was terrible but, no loss of life or serious injuries.

You should have seen me, hubby, and three big dogs trying to huddle in our "safe" room. One of the dogs freaked out and ran out before we could get the door closed. I ran out to get her and we ended up in the laundry room while hubby and the other two dogs were in the bathroom next to the laundry room. My dog was so scared she peed all over me--I think I may have peed my pants a little, too. That was one scary night.

Everyone please continue to pray.

The last I heard was the death toll in Arkansas was 14 with severe damage to several small towns and cities that were in the path of the storm. I have seen in person how bad the damage from a tornado can be, no matter what you see on tv, imagine it being about 100 times worse. I am grateful that the storm missed where I live but am heartbroken about the lives that were lost.
