1 John3:2

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be : but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as he is .

We can debate forever and will reach no meeting of the minds but someday we WILL understand His divine nature for "we shall see Him as He is.

This is how I personally see the Trinity you have God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit. In life we have different titles once you are a father you will always be a father. He is God, right? God the father. Once you are a son you are always a son and He still is God. God the Son. God is the Holy Spirit because that is the little small voice we listen to. Prayerfully, nobody else is speaking to you like that. God the Holy Spirit. Nothing changes He is still God He just has multiple names like we have a first, middle, and last name and maybe a nickname.
The end of Matthew 28 shows that God has one name and is in three glorious persons: 'in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost'.

The issue with that analogy is that we are the same person...whereas God is three persons in one being...

Hey Brother...do you understand Hebrew....

1. Singular
2. Dual<===Pairs, two
3. Plural<---Three or more

Go look up in Genesis when God breathed into Adam the breath of lives (plural)

I am ONE man

1. Mind (WILL) <---FATHER
2. BODY (flesh)<--Jesus
3. Spirit<-------Holy Spirit<---makes us alive

Man made in God's image!

I really want to get in on this discussion, but i have to move away from the computer for a bit............I'll leave something to ponder..........When the bible speaks of marriage, and "two becoming one"....how does that work?

I'll be back. :)
Very good to ponder,, but my question,,,,,We know that The God and Jesus are one.
How about us whom Jesus gave his blood and flesh.
Aren't we all in one with the God?
Jesus and us are in ONE.
This makes real trinity. We as believers are God too because we are his children.

Trinity itself does not deal with real life. It just deals with God's identity which we don't know well.
The God did not use his identity for salvation of mankind. He used Jesus, his son as word of life.

It's good to base our conclusions on the statements of Scripture itself. At the end of Matthew 28, it speaks of 'the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost' — one glorious name; one God in Three Persons.

If i do not accept the meaning of trinity, what law did i violate?

Again, it's good to look directly at the witness of Scripture, God's Word: the end of Matthew 28, John's Gospel, especially chapters 13 thru 17, Romans 8, John's First Epistle, etc. The word Trinity is not in the Bible but the truth of one God in the Three Persons certainly is.

The end of Matthew 28 shows that God has one name and is in three glorious persons: 'in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost'.
This Matthew 28 shows that only functions of each name represent. It does not mean these three are one person in God.

Why people are so much craze about trinity concept to make every verses into trinity idea.

Jesus can not do anythings without him Father, the only God.

And this Jesus is the spirit nature as his father's exact image.

And we who are born again through father's image are little jesus, namely his brothers.

The Bible teaches that there are three separate persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

God said, Let us make man in our image: Gen. 1:26.
man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: Gen. 3:22.
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: Matt. 3:17 (17:5)
not mine to give, but … of my Father: Matt. 20:23.
not as I will, but as thou wilt: Matt. 26:39.
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matt. 28:19
called the Son of the Highest: Luke 1:32.
Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove: Luke 3:22.
Son can do nothing … but what he seeth the Father do: John 5:19.
Father that sent me beareth witness of me: John 8:18.
I and my Father are one: John 10:30.
believe the works … that the Father is in me: John 10:38.
a voice from heaven, saying, I have … glorified it: John 12:28.
my Father is greater than I: John 14:28.
that they might know thee the only true God: John 17:3.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me: John 17:21.
I ascend unto my Father, and your Father: John 20:17.
being by the right hand of God exalted: Acts 2:33.
saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God: Acts 7:55.
not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold: Acts 17:29.
even his eternal power and Godhead: Rom. 1:20.
to us there is but one God: 1 Cor. 8:6.
Christ, who is the image of God: 2 Cor. 4:4.
I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord: Eph. 3:14.
image of the invisible God, the firstborn: Col. 1:15.
dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily: Col. 2:9.
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son: Heb. 1:2.
three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: 1 Jn. 5:7.

The Father and the Son have tangible bodies of flesh and bone and that the Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit without flesh and bone.

When people speak of God, it is generally the Father who is referred to; that is, Elohim. All mankind are His children. The personage known as Jehovah in Old Testament times, and who is usually identified in the Old Testament as Lord (in small capitals), is the Son, known as Jesus Christ, and who is also a God. Jesus works under the direction of the Father and is in complete harmony with Him. All mankind are His brethren and sisters, He being the eldest of the spirit children of Elohim. Many of the things that the scripture says were done by God were actually done by the Lord (Jesus). Thus the scripture says that “God created the heaven and the earth” (Gen. 1:1), but we know that it was actually the Lord (Jesus) who was the creator (John 1:3, 10), or as Paul said, God created all things by Christ Jesus (Eph. 3:9). The Holy Ghost is also a God and is variously called the Holy Spirit, the Spirit, the Spirit of God, etc.

Although God created all things and is the ruler of the universe, being omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent (through His Spirit), mankind has a special relationship to Him that differentiates man from all other created things: man is literally God’s offspring, made in His image, whereas all other things are but the work of His hands (Acts 17:28–29).

Karlko, I agree with you. However, unless you are a mormon, we shouldn't say that Jesus Christ is a God, because that implies that we have three gods...

Hi Simona,
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons). I'm not sure I understand your concern with calling Jesus Christ or the Holy Ghost a God. I think perhaps it is more semantics that fundamental belief. It sounds like you believe Jesus is the Son of God the Father, the First Born. He is not God the Father, but has received power and authority from His Father that make him more than a "man".

Well hello!
All you Christians out there I want YOUR opinion!

I have studied this doctrine defined as the Trinity, and I tend to see a lot of issues with it. So I am just curious is someone that actually knows anything about it. (Not what you have always been taught, But what you have Studied) Would give me a brief but intellectual standpoint on it, in hopes of a discussion. What is the Trinity in your own words? And from a biblical point of view Why do you believe it?
The concept does not stand up to scripture. You can check it out for yourself, TheSimpleAnswers.com Blog Archive Is God A Trinity?

what is your first commandment?

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: "Hear, Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul" and with all your mind, "and with all your strength." This is the first commandment. (Mark 12.29 – 30)
