I wanted to reply to a post that was posted in another room(but the room was closed)
I don't see how scripture could support a doctrine which bares so much bad fruit. Not only do you have unsaved people dying in their sin because they put their trust in a doctrine that justifies sin, but it is a doctrine that brings forth as much division as it does confusion.
"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?" -Romans 6:1
The "bearing of bad fruit", is because of man's willingness to edify the carnal flesh....As Christians we are commanded to GROW.....This is not license to sin! Which is what Paul is speaking about......
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21
"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:40
"But to him that WORKETH NOT, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 4:5
“Knowing that a man is NOT JUSTIFIED BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and NOT BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW: for BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW SHALL NO FLESH BE JUSITIFIED” (Galatians 2:16)
“But we are all as an unclean thing, and ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESSES ARE AS FILTHY RAGS; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away” Isaiah 64:60
"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise." Ephesians 1:13
"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." Ephesians 4:30
You were born once physically.....You are born once spiritually..."unborning oneself" makes no sense!....Read 1 Corinthians....These were some very sinful people, but they were called 'babes in Christ"(one's that are NOT growing in Christ)......
"To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." 1 Corinthians 5:5
And yes the Holy Spirit grieves when a Christian sins cause he should know better!!! You were sealed! Seals cannot be broken! For anyone to say that the Holy Spirit will unseal a Christian who doesn't live by righteousness calls God a liar!
