If you had used larger font I would have read more than that.

So often people express differing viewpoints about even the most serious of religious issues, and others get sidetracked by some of the most foolish questions imaginable. Whyis this? One of the main reasons is lack of knowledge, self-knowledge, head knowledge, leaning to their own understanding, no spiritual learning the list goes on.Many people simply do not know what the Bible teaches and twist and distort what they read. Many want to word play and get off the topic to stay in their comfort zones.
I find it a true saying that many would be surprised to learn that much ignorance of God´s wordis willful: ,You have to want to know the truth to know the truth people just don´t want to know what the Bible says (2 Peter 3:5). In Matthew 13:15 Jesus described people who closed their eyes and ears, because they did not want to understand His teachings. Folks get something in their head and that is all that matters.

I have asked myself time and time again why would anyone prefer darkness rather than light, ignorance rather than knowledge, error rather than truth? John 3:19,20 Jesussaid: “... the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness ratherthan light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.” Ignorance of the mind distorts our reasoning.
Ignorance of the heart distorts our emotions.
Ignorance of the conscience distorts our guilt.
When we have no knowledge of God's Word and do not understand God's purposes, our ignoranceis more than tragic; it is a deadly combination.
Scripture references

I think some tv ministers are off base yes in a lot of teaching. I think this because it is a version of scripture and not in context scripture they use to make certain biblical points. To some degree many of them are ignorant that they do this. Yet I do believe some are aware and they walk in willful ignorance. People for years have been using the bible to prove what they say is true. It also proves that what they say is not true as well. The bible is correct in every sense of the word.

God is not a man that he should lie therefore I believe what his word has said through inspired men. You may ask are some men inspired now? Yes But few have literally walked with Jesus and many walk around him now, not all truly walk with him many desire too but sin causes the gap that grace bridges for us. Remember he can't deal with sin in us it would taint who he is. Just some thoughts

I see so much willful ignorance, frankly I find it disgusting. Some will say that denomination or that person said something I don't believe in so I refuse to listen to them about anything. Someone just did that about some information the Catholic Church has in their vaults, and because this person isn't Catholic that information is not to be believed, even though it is only copies of ancient writings no one else has.

Often they say none of the history of the people the bible talks of must be believed, just stay ignorant of it all.

A very popular one is that Christ cancelled Mosaic Law so ignore it, besides it was only given for the Jews, if you aren't Jewish it never was for you so stay ignorant of it.

a lot of times we fail to see the deceptive trappings of our own ignorance. We fall for the bait each time its dangled in front of us. We don't have to ask every question that comes to mind or answer every question for the sake of knowing. The bible is absolutely clear on foolish pursuits of vain jangling's and babblings and foolishness ect yet we still follow the way of our mind often creating our own ignorance to go along with the ignorant teachings of the world what a dangerous combination that has become! Just a few thoughts.

Okay, I read it. I assume that repost was for me, since you quoted me, and as such, I assume my comment is not out of place. I find the post long, rambling, and disjointed. Your point could have surely been made more clear, with less words.

Look, don't take this the wrong way, but your posts would have more impact and authority if you didn't display either ignorance or laziness by lack of punctuation. Commas and periods work well to bring clarity to one's point you know.
Commas Rule 1. To avoid confusion, use commas to separate words and word groups with a series of three or more

pastac, it would only take a little effort to bolster your argument, my friend.

Would you mind showing us who made that statement? Something said like that should be pointed out as erroneous, don't you think?

Are you serious! How do you get a basic post to be directed at you then begin a asinine assault based on your wrong assumption. What is the problem? It was a basic post relating to willful ignorance if you took that personal that was not my intent but your assumption. Now I wont give you the satisfaction of responding to your off base comments due to your being wrong. I'll let it pass and not display any ignorance on my part. You could have pm'd me and asked me if I was speaking to you but you wanted to go public with this tirade of wrong thinking. Thats on you. I don't post for you or offer critique to your ramblings so I don't get your point. Don't tell me how to post or how to express myself I don't do that to you. You do have a way that could be considered hostile I've been told that myself so I take it with a grain of salt. I reposted simply because you asked me too! This is not English 101 you get the jest of the post even if words are misspelled and no punctuation you're not ignorant!
