Wow, [SUP]1 [/SUP]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [SUP]2 [/SUP]He was in the beginning with God. [SUP]3 [/SUP]All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. [SUP]4 [/SUP]In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. [SUP]5 [/SUP]And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Am I missing something, I see allot of names from God, and that is neat, but there is only one God and He says there is no other!
OK, [SUP]1 [/SUP]In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [SUP]2 [/SUP]The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
they do not contradict each other, same person. Why do we have such a hard time with our triune God? The Father is not the Son, and the Son is not the Father, and the Spirit is not the Father nor the Son, difficult to follow, the Father with the Spirit worked in the Old Testament, and then we had Christ, the Son work in the New Testament, and now in this Church area we have the Spirit, sealed in us working.
We know that the Temple is unlike any Church, a sanctuary anywhere is not a sacred building or any other Church is a sacred building. There are no sacred buildings like the Temple, we know that, that Temple that sat there in Jerusalem, which now the Mosque of Omar sits on that land, was the only place that God said, the brazen alter could be put and the animal sacrifices could be given. It was the only geographical spot in the world, where the Holy Place and Holy of Holies could be. So what I’m not trying to say today is that in our Churches we have some counter part of the Temple, we know that. In fact the Bible says that we’re the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
