You assume too much. I acknowledge the sin, but I refuse to allow any government the power to censor or control the lives of its citizens. If TV wishes to show sin as good, I won't watch it. But God help the day when we have allowed the government power to decide morality, which we have already done, and then they come for us. God allows man to live as it wishes, I am not going to play God with another's life. The road of censorship ends in the road of totalitarianism. If the NFL allows him to play, that is none of mine. If he plays poorly, he will be benched or removed.

You want to accuse me of desiring the corruption of mankind? Go ahead. Remember that tragedies always begin with censorship and evil minds. That censorship is now directed towards us, we CANNOT respond in kind.

Again you build a strawman argument only to tear it down, as if I proffered the idea that gov should censor ANYTHING . Where did I say I was for gov censorship? I'll try asking a third time. Why did you make false claims about his ability? Why are you happy about him getting drafted? Why aren't you offended by by the homosexual "soft porn" while children were watching?

First, I am neither happy or unhappy about his draft. I await to see if he can play. I didn't lie, what I said about his ability was a quote from his coach in college. Secondly, I wouldn't call kissing soft core pornography, because if it was, why do we let the bride and groom kiss. Your views are the same as Ripper Gore's claiming violence witnessed causes violence. If that was true, many holocaust survivors would be murderers. I think we are allowing a non-issue become an issue. Homosexuals have existed since the days of Noah, if not prior. Hiding it didn't work. Burning and killing homosexuals didn't work. Maybe we should trust Christ and say that the way of compassion, empathy, and suffering for each other will be the thing to save our lost human race. Nope, not maybe. It definitely is the only way.

Your point? I never said we shouldn't acknowledge sin. I said we must be approachable. Also, Jesus ate with the filth of society. His Apostles are in the same place and from the same plates as gentiles. These are the appearances of sin. You're just baiting for an argument.

Do not force us back into an age where homosexuals were burnt at the stake, btw that's where the word f word for homosexuals came from. If man wishes to flaunt his sin, what is that to you? Call out the sin, but check your discrimination.
You have a real issue with me on a personal level and I wont stand for you to keep saying I'm baiting anyone or anything thing. You are so far off base you don't know me and keep assuming that you do. What was your point again? Nobody is forcing us anywhere but you stay where you are in your bubble and I'll keep bursting it every chance I get! What is is to me? That's asinine to ask I see its nothing to you because you are a sympathizer.

Sam was never a good prospect but..

they had ESPN at his home for the reaction to his being drafted and of course the kiss. ( Kinda makes ya wonder what his reaction would have been if he was not drafted ).

They had cameras in a gay bar for their reaction.

This was not about Sam the football player getting drafted. It was about Sam...the GAY football player getting drafted.

Just imagine if he was not drafted...

the NFL would be called backward and homophobic.

Now all of that pressure is on the Rams. I would be surprised if he was cut. Probably spend a year or two on the practice squad and then as quietly as possible be released.

What I don't get is why believers think we should say nothing or feel anyway about this blatant disregard for Gods word? We get theses sympathizers who have lived a short while trying to expound on issues that have plagued the world since bible days and has gotten worse no its open and forced on us to accept.
Well I don't wont and cant. I'm amazed at how even in this day and time many think its ok for people to do as they please and think it has not direct or indirect affect on us all.

I saw this on the talk today and it made me feel a tad uncomfortable, but their comments afterwards made me realize how out of the norm I'm becoming in terms of believing that homosexuality is a sin. Then one of the hosts said, "if you just saw that and it made you uncomfortable that's because you're just not use to seeing it."

Talk about a shocker! If anything, it's not because I'm not use to seeing it, it's because it's not natural therefore it is awkward and I also believe the Spirit speaks to us in these ways as well revealing to us what is not from The Lord.

Homosexuality is a sin but thats not why we should be vocal about it. The world could care less if we call it a sin or not.

We come against homosexuality for one reason and one reason only, in the world...

it hurts those who practice it and promoting it only hurts more people.

That's love.

If we did not love homosexuals we would not say anything.

I'm not used to seeing people have sex with animals either but that doesn't mean I wish to become used to seeing it. In fact, I am not going to become used to seeing it because I won't view it even if everyone else chooses to. Simple as that.

I don't follow the crowd into dissipation and wickedness. They do that on their own apart from me. My time is spent with godly people who are purifying themselves over time from the world's immorality.

Again, that is what his coach said. Personally, I don't follow the NFL or NCAA. My town and county are local football nuts. I played football in high school, and I continue to cheer on my alma mater.

You appear to be digging a deeper hole in your lie, er, I mean, ehhum!! exaggeration. Please tell me what part of your now completely debunked post did Sam's college coach say, and where did you hear it.

I'm not going to curse here. But I will say this, I heard it quoted on Fox News. Now if you continue in your nasty and vulgar attack on my personage, there is completely nothing I can do. I forgive you your insults and attacks, your innuendo, and sniping. I am angry, but that too shall pass. I made my point and you disagree. Let us leave it there.

My question is... from a sports perspective, how does any of that apply? Why would the sexual orientation of the players matter, how does that make the Wide Receiver a better receiver, or QB better @ working the 2 minute clock in the 4th Quarter? It doesn't matter, that's just a little social justice I guess.

I'll break down why Gay couples want Gay Marriage so badly, and can't just settle for a civil union. And I'll be the unpopular guy when I say this, but Married couples contribute to society by reproducing and having children, children which will one day join the work force hopefully. So, Married couples get a tax credit for that, they can claim their children as dependents under the tax code. Heterosexual, Married couples that is. But not a homogeneous couple. They don't reproduce, and surrogate mothers/adoptions aren't counted under the current laws as having children of your own. It's not so much about kicking the doors of a church open, and being wedded by an ordained minister, as it is about having the marriage license granted in the first place so the gay couple in question can be married in the first place. It's about getting the marriage license and thus receiving the tax benefits a married couple would receive. It's just all about money...

That's how I see it in my grim world view at least. I know, someone out there is going to take offense. Someone ALWAYS does. But before you take offense to this, remember that everyone's opinion should be heard, not just the pro-gay marriage side of the coin. There is such a thing as civil discourse, and while my opinion isn't a reflection of anyone else other than myself, it needs to be heard just like anyone elses, and I know others feel the same way.

With all that being said, this in no way was an attack on anyone. It's just my .02$, so please, don't take this the wrong way.

That goes to my belief that the government should only make civil unions and leave marriage to the Church. That however is extremely unlikely.

Let's see, your not going to curse. That's good. Not sure why you would. Ummm, you heard on Fox News, Missouri's coach say."He is a top All American football player. He has over 11 sacks to his college record, which is almost unheard of. He better get into the NFL on merit and not politics." Sorry but this is a complete fabrication. Honestly, I'm trying to be diplomatic, but this is an outright lie. What "vulgar" and "nasty" attack did I perform on your personage? You have not been truthful, have been caught, and are now lashing out at me because you feel guilt. I'm not at all angry, and have nothing against you, but YOU do not get to lie about me and then say, "ok I get last word".

Shepherd Smith was the one who quoted it. You are the one calling me a liar, claiming that I want to see the youth of America corrupted. That was nasty and vulgar. I'm willing to admit that if what I quoted in ignorance was wrong, then I am wrong. But I still don't see this entire situation as an issue since it is one that has been created by liberal media and Christians taking the bait. If Sam's plays well, then he deserves to play, if he doesn't he deserves to be benched. That's it. That's my view in a nutshell.

Gosh, I almost feel bad now. That hole is so deep I can hardly see you. 1st, Shepard Smith is a Fox newscaster, NOT a college football coach. 2nd Shepard Smith is himself a homosexual. (certainly not your fault you didn't know that) 3rd, I defy you to quote where I said you want to see the youth of America corrupted. I DID ask why you are happy about him being drafted, and why you think homosexuals massaging each other and kissing with kids watching would be a good thing. Hard to stretch that into your assertion. I am truly happy to see you taking some responsibility with untrue statements. thank you for that.

America cheers at it prepares to go the way of Rome

"And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." Romans 1:27
America has gotten to a peculiar point in its illustrious history, and it's precisely the same place that the Roman Empire arrived at just before they collapsed into the dustbin of history. The Roman Empire had their coliseums, we have our stadiums. Rome had gladiators, we have linebackers. Rome fed the Christians to lions, America is ostracizing anyone and everyone who stands for the bible and Jesus Christ. Rome displayed open homosexuality and all manners of perversion, and so do we. The book of Ecclesiastes says "The thing that hath been, it is thatwhichshallbe". America is preparing to enter the same dustbin that claimed Rome.
"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves"

In the name of "progress" and "tolerance" we have allowed the profane to become the norm. When I was in school, if a boy dressed like a girl, it was something deviant, something wrong. Something to be ashamed of. Today, a transsexual man wearing a ballroom gown, sporting a full beard, with cascading, womanly hair just won the Eurovision Song Contest in the UK to the applause of watching millions. Give it 6 months and the same thing will be appearing on American Idol here in the states.
America murders 3,000 babies per day, and we laugh about it. Women mockingly film videos for YouTube showing off how proud they are to snuff out the life which they created. Now we have Michael Sam, the first openly-queer NFL football player. Corporate America will fall over each other in the rush to put him in their advertising in the name of "diversity". Anyone who won't pay him homage with rich contracts will be branded as a "hater", and the Gay Mafia will seek to destroy that person. The news media gleefully reports almost daily of Christians being fired for taking a biblical stand against homosexuality. Just ask Phil Robertson how it feels to be attacked by the Gay Mafia.
But God is watching.
Look, America, look up on the wall of the White House. Do you see that giant finger writing something? Look close and read it, it says: "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN".
What does it mean? - "God has numbered thy kingdom, and finished it."

Marriage gets a tax break because the government knows marriage, between a man and a woman is the glue for society. Its the governments best way to insure the proper enviroment for raising children.

Gays want marriage to promote their sexual perversion...to get more partners. To have more sex. The way they do this is to make homosexuality seem normal, hence the marriage license.

With ALL sexual perversions, it takes over all aspects of their lives and they must have it and will do anything to get it.

Its about getting more sex. Its not about rights. Its not about tax breaks or benefits.
