g-d helps those who help themselves.
ok one thing about that. that is not true and seen nowhere in scripture.

and dothack it doesnt matter if your single or die single. look at Paul he said Christ was enough and that man was in prison and poor as can be and did not have a wife. all you can do is pray and leave it up to God.

Um dude take this from a guy who has been backstabbed by the same girl three times.
She lied to me the first time saying that she would go out with me if she could. then she wen out with this othe guy. i did not talk to her for almost the whole year. she then decided to apologize and i did not want to take her apology but one of my friends had me accept it. then I made my mistake i started to like her again I thought she kinda started to like me cause we would hang out more so after a while(this is getting close to the end of the year) i work up the courage(i am a really nervous guy i can barely talk to girls so imagine how this was for me) to ask her out. she shoots me down saying "no i already had too many boyfriends this year" So i was shot down..There were other crushes but one of the ones that hurt a lot was this one girl I would talk to when i hung out with my friends. a couple of them knew i liked her and they would "try" and give me advice. Well for my birthday i decide to invite my friends and the girl. well my friends knew i liked her and one of them kept flirting with her very badly in front of me..so yup this is why i avoid crushes. you end up getting crushed.
So take it from me and the apostle Paul. Christ is enough even if your alone

Phoenix you are 16, don't even worry about it. teenage crushes and all that, arnt really anything. And teenage girls are very very stupid. 90% of them. So don't be surprised you found one like that.

Seriously the comment "I had too many boyfriends this year" made me LOL. You see that right there is proof she thinks she is so great that over 9000 guys want her. For what? Her looks? That is probably all she has. Totally empty inside. I already had a GF where all she had is looks.

The only so called GF I ever had, is now married with child and is flirting with other guys in front of her husband and doesn't care about her child. The only reason I associated with her at all, is because we were once childhood friends and I drew a picture of her in my mind which was entirely false.

Watch the show super sweet sixteen, you will find every variation of GF you are likely to meet in your teenage years. None of them are worth a nanosecond of your time.

I had a similar experience when I was 17, my only girlfriend was shallow and concerned with trivial things that seemed to stem from vanity, but she was 26 and near 10 years my senior, in obvious ways she was futher along in life than me, but in terms of our attitudes and emotional focus we were really playing eachother's role, which is one of the reasons I was so confused at the time.

My point here is that whle I agree in today's scoiety it's sometimes hard to find young people of substance I don't think 90% of teenage girls can be written off as empty inside, I don't think they are empty, it's just the substance that you will hopefully see shine through in later life is simply buried under fear and peer-pressure, people like that need people like us to help them see they don't have to hide it, but it's hard to do when you feel like they are pulling you down instead of you lifting them up, I've always seen that as the challenge in life, but a real difficult one.

As for being alone forever, it might happen but don't obsess about it and live your life, be the best you can be and hopefully the rest will come, if it doesn't then hey! you did the best you could with what you had, and that's a lot.

Didn't say it was seen in the scripture, but I think worshiping g-d is helping oneself so its all about interpretation, and how an individual decides to deal with there faith.

I basically think that everyday. I think it is harder for people who are not willing to settle for what is convienient or easy. You are not alone, almost everyone feels like that at times. Hang in there!
;) I am sure it will pay off!

It certainly crosses my mind fairly frequently seeing as I've never been on a date (officially), even though I've made several attempts and got rejected with a different line every time. Its really gotten old, so I've given up for now.

I have been in a few relationships, the shortest of which was one year seven months. I have only ever dated one good Christian woman, it didn't work out because of issues with the family. I don't blame them, who wants their daughter involved with a skinhead punk?

In the end it's helped me be less shy, that's right I used to be shy. :) used to eat of the Pie most humble. But the point is it a
ll means nothing, when the time is right, when youre not looking, god will give you someone and it'll work. You just have to make sure you're in the right place. That's kinda why i came here. I don't know any other Christians my age, locally at least.

I find that people who worry about getting a girlfriend all the time either dont get someone or they find someone whos not suited to them. So my advice is sit back and enjoy life and someday sooner or later that special person will walk into your life.

Yes-- look at being single as a gift. It is a time for you to be alone and have God work on your heart--maybe He doesn't think you are ready. I know I've settled for wrong guys-- If I would of just trusted God the whole time--my choices would have been different. So now--as hard as it is--trust God and ask him for His will--and ask him to help u see his will and for it to become your own. You want to be the person He wants you to be--then you are ready for a relationship : )
