Google will target ads based upon your browsing history, but they'll still throw random ones at you. You can turn off the targeting mechanism but you'll still get random ads. And for a buck a month RoboOp will block them from you totally. That's pretty cheap, but for someone with a $300k a year medical issue that can be difficult. Maybe RoboOp can grandfather dcontroversial in under my donation? I'll vouch for the guy. He seems to be an upright bro.

Regarding swimsuit ads, yah I'd like to block that. I don't see a category for it in Google Adsense though..... you would think it would be listed under "Apparel"?
It could be under sports/fitness, or maybe a subcategory of apparel --> clothing.

You tell me ED! You think this is appropriate for a Christian Web Site?

Not accusing you of anything BUT the ads that we see as individuals depend on our browser history. My wife and I are in the market for a house and I have been getting a lot of real estate ads on here. It's likely that SOMEONE using your computer was probably visiting some questionable sites.

Some ads are targeted but you still get random ones not based upon your history. I doubt a porn surfer would be posting such a thing and drawing attention to it. Cut the guy some slack.

Personally, I equate Google with being part of the spirit of the antichrist. Just wait till they merge with Apple!

T-shirts are something with nearly universal appeal, since everyone (presumably!) wears clothes. There are a lot of ads that don't appear targeted at all, but advertise something that almost everyone needs, like car insurance or clothes.

yea i think why they did what they did was because the gov. was forcing them to disclose user imfo,,,so if they let their system run in that manner,,,,,"it was not what they actually searched for in example of every page",,,,,,so the client is free and clear,,,,,,,

Not necessarily - I was seeing the girly tee shirt ads I just checked my history - there are no questionable sites on there, google pics for pics for star trek, my photobucket account and a few other normal sites.
