That's darling! I love the color arrangement. You should make a shop on etsy. It's very creative

I think we all need to pause and recognize MissCris for creating a thread that lasted more than 26 minutes.

I build robots, electronic sensors, tesla coils, theremins, and anything else electronic you can think of. I do it at work, and I do it as a hobby. I'm obsessed. If you want me to stop building, you will have to kill me.

Ms. ronnie: I saw your 'likes' just now; so do you also like slashed blue jeans? and tribal tattoo designs?
Um, I like slashed blue jeans once in a while, but usually I wear intact ones.
As far as tattoos, thats a no for me, But I love tribal print, and I could see how it'd make a cool tattoo.

How do you feel about horn implants and sharpening your teeth?

Oh okay! :) Slashed blue jeans seem to be fashionable, anyway.

But tattoos - including faith based ones - take more commitment.

Blessings.

If someone doesn't start posting some pictures of these much-talked of jeans and tattoos, I'll have to kick y'all out for derailing.

...just kidding. Derail away.

By all means, let's see pictures... :)

Ronnie clicked that she liked i) slashed blue jeans; & ii) tribal tattoos designs.

I think even a simple design such as <>< can look 'tribalish', for instance for the wrist or foot area, as a modest design.

(Two cents'.)

Blessings.

I know that not everyone is what is typically thought of as "creative", but most people are creative in their own way. Some people paint, or write, or sew, or cook, or dance or sing or build things or design things....

What's your creative outlet? If there's more than one, tell us about them...what's your favorite? Share pictures if you have them (you know, if you feel like it...).

If this thread doesn't crash and burn I'll post mine after while.
My creative outlet is writing for that is the way I am more freely able to express my feelings and emotions, and this is especially true to a woman that I care about. I also appreciate this same quality in the woman that would have it in her heart to write back to me in this same manner. Writing is a passion of mine, not in the words that I write but in the feelings that I am trying to convey.

I made these stained glass coffee mugs recently. I am reteaching myself how to do stained glasswork. The second pic with the blinds closed shows the copper wire "steam" better than the other pic. The owner of the hippie studio I joined thinks that I should make a whole bunch of these because she thinks they would sell very well. I think I'll eventually do that, but right now I am working on an abstract cat..

CatHerder- that...is super cool. Seriously. And I agree, you could definitely sell those. Do you think that's something you'd do? Or do you kinda just want to keep them for yourself?

I think so. I don't know if I would sell this particular one; it's my first project using my own design/patterns, and my 12 y.o. daughter actually designed the top one and cut some of the pieces, so it has sentimental value. I kept the patterns, may tweak them a little bit, and produce a bunch of these, yes. I've seen panels with as much overall glass area going for $80 or higher, but the studio thinks they could "really move them" if I only charged $45 to get my name out. My technique will only improve, so I could always go up from there.
The studio owner's rationale:
1. I'm still relearning technique (if you look closely, the soldering ain't that great - not bad, but not great either).
2. It's still over triple the cost of the materials.
3. People who are doing an impulse buy in midtown generally do not have to consult their significant others to buy something for $45.
