do you know why?
Yep. The good lawyer does not ask the question to which he also does not also know the answer.
do you know why?
Because he condoned the persecution of Jews. Read his treatise, "On Christ-killers". Plus he didn't reform, he protested.
It's funny, you do realize some of the people I listed post date or are contemporary to Martin Luther.Yeah, he tried some reforming, but the church of his day was kinda "unreformable"...
so he had to take his ball and play somewhere else.
I guess when nobody wants to be reformed, protesting works out ok.
: )

One tried, Luther denounced him as a heretic because he believed in free will, Erasmus. That's AWESOME!
If they were so selfless and Godly...
I'm surprised they didn't give Martin Luther a hand!
: )
They do this openly before our eyes under the cover of doctrine of men. Why? Why do they unilaterally only have a form of Godliness?

I'm flummoxed, I really am. I've been to quite a few churches in my life but only one of them would I call even mildly non-biblical in nature (they believed you had to speak tongues to be saved). Certainly the churches varied from tired, almost dead, traditional country churches to more vibrant rural, suburban and city churches (some traditional, most not). Then again, I live in Australia and our churches are probably a little different.
You think the church of his day was un-reformable then, I agree. That situation was minor. Paul says our war is not with flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers in high places. So what is he talking about? Seminaries, Bible colleges, Bible schools. Jesus explains it like this: "The student is like his teacher. They are both alike." Lk. 6:40 Every graduate from these schools is a false teacher.

actually Luther got kicked off the playground.Yeah, he tried some reforming, but the church of his day was kinda "unreformable"...

Martin Luther also did some excellent reforming...
you seem to have left him off the list.

You don't understand. The Protestant reformation started by Martin Luther occurred in American around the 1500's or so. We all know for an undeniable fact that neither Christ nor the Apostles originated from the Americas.
That being said, how can you be sure that the lutheran church founded by Martin Luther is under Christ's words: "The gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." ?
Immaculate conception, Baptism, and the Doctrine of the Cross has been largely unchallenged until Mr. Luther started his rebellion. If anything, he wasn't actually serving Christ; he just started a span of mass confusion and contempt among Catholic Christians and non-Catholic Christians.
Martian Luther is a prime example of this bible verse: "Can a divided house stand? Would a divided kingdom not collapse?"
By our own human weakness, we sawed off the united body of Christ which has been intended to be close to all of us, bringing each body part into our respective denominations. We're similar to the Israelites during the times of the books of Judges, Kings, and Chronicles.
And it's so freaking stupid.

Hell, even the Atheists are confused, and we can't blame them.
