Lately I've been curious about the artificial dyes and their side effects. Today I've had enough of it. I bought a can of vanilla frosting, looked at the huge list of ingredients, and saw Red 40 in there. What's the use of the red dye if it's white frosting??
I'm thinking of writing a letter to the company, I think it's Pillsbury, about it. I can make my own frosting(although that's not the point) in about five minutes and have about three ingredients in it (that I can pronounce--what a concept!!!)
The president has to know about the risks right? Why would the UK have the dyes stated on the box more visibly (or so I've read)??
Another thing to mention, from what I've read, it's the same with HFCS in the UK.
Here is a sight where I got a lot of insight.
