Cobus you take scripture to a whole different meaning when you lean to your own understanding. You are no different from any other believer who strives to walk in the knowledge of Christ. Your revelations are sometimes tainted with your lack of understandings and that is ok.

God can fix that. But you seem to be stuck on the perfection issue and deveiate from the post which is pertaining to fasting. Jesus was perfect Cobus and he fasted if we follow his example as be should we will do the same.! Askinf God for wisdom Cobus may mean it comes through another person or even a donkey! You just have to move out of your own way an be willing to except that.

Cobus you do lack wisdom! But so do I and every other believer. We know in part but as a body ministry we are to glean from others who labor among us and learn from them if we can. Perfection Cobus is what Jesus was and is and what we seek. This thread is about fasting and Jesus fasted!!!!

First let me introduce you to the WISDOM BANK My friend then you can also withdraw there. that is where I WENT for the wisdom I share with you and you do not understand.... If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jas 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
By your own admittance I am NOT double minded.. So thank you Pastac. Pastac how would you who is double minded know if I lack wisdom? Only God and I know if I do, and I agree I did lack wisdom when I also believed as you do, but then I went to GOD, and HE GAVE me wisdom and now you see it as foolishness. But then there is NOTHING I can do for you, Go to God, and with ONE mind ask Him for wisdom and he shall give it to you.... He did when I asked!

Pastac no true believer lack wisdom not ONE! If you still SEEK perfection Jesus is NOT in you. That is what I adressed with Apostle, I really like the man and you. And I will NEVER give up to encourage you to go to God. ALL things you SEEK is in His Word. but DO NOT TWIST it to suit you, Rather repent and TWIST YOURSELF to suit the Word. The ONE mind God wants is the ONE TRUTH... Your mind should be WORD OF GOD ONLY! Then you have ONE mind.... ALL my mind is Word only. That is why there is no seconf mind in me... It is WORD ONLY...

Fasting is a good thing, and I also fasted. And God is always faithful, and epileptic spirits leave when we fast and pray for deliverance. But again, when we SEEK to be holy we are not holy, and the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. So my priority for all people is not fasting, but RIGHTEOUSNESS... GBU my friends. Every person that the Holy Spirit leads to fasting... FAST. and everyperson that the Holy Spirit leads to repentance REPENT! Amen!

Apostle when we STRIVE to let God work through us HE STILL DOES NOT WORK THROUGH us.... And I see that some people in Ephesians was so FILLED with God Himself that HE was the ONE SPIRIT in them all.... Is this not the Body of Christ? People that do not strive or hope or want ANYTHING for they have received it ALL!

They are ALL God, and God is ALL of them. This is what I know about people that want or lack nothing.... James says this... But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

There is only ONE true position in Spirit that this is accomplished. It is when God FILLS the man of God. Entirely fills the man of God with Father HIMSELF. Perfect men do not want NOTHING, they are perfect and ENTIRE... Now look at Eph 4: 6 and see how ENTIRE all these people are.... One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Apostle you know how much I love you and how I admire that God is working on you. I can SEE the growth in you. Pastac my friend nice to see you too. I hope you have not hardened your heart to the Truth. I cannot change the Word of God, it is as God gave it to us. I accept it exactly as it is written, and if I do not understand I ASK GOD for revelation. He is my Teacher for 15 years now, and ONLY Him.

I believe if I lack wisdom, I ask God and I doubt not that I will get it, and did get it when I needed it. If people do not receive it when I share the Truth, there is NOTHING I can do, but keep on in patience, and not be blown by all types of doctrine. The one I believe is the ONLY doctrine that does not clash with a single verse in Scripture. Not a single one! That is the doctrine that God talks about in 2 Tim 3:16. And I will soon be where God wants me to be in maturity, because HE is FAITHFUL and HE will make sure I am one of these men.... All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

OH MAY I BE A MAN OF GOD! AMEN! I love you all, and God above all else. Amen!
The will of God is that we may reach perfection one day , salvation comes from total surrendering and allow the good LORD to perfect the saint , for Jesus said that the servant must be as perfect as his Master , Jesus said the Father is in me by my obedience , therefore it is my Father that does the works , so yes obedience is a very core trait we must be adorned with at all times , but this comes through the Holy Spirits transforming to perfection power but true perfection comes when we receive the glory died bodies as we were hallways meant in the book of acts the apostle peter was asked what must we do to ? Then peter answered repent and be baptized each and one of you in the name of Jesus and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit , and the promise is to as many as are called , when we receive the Holy spirit it is a seal initiative and power from above , the Holy Spirit is given to as many take the calling of salvation in Christ , but it comes in signs , but the calling does not make them saved necessarily but by allowing God to administer through the believer ,therefore it is God doing the works when we follow wholeheartedly in Mathew 25 Jesus stated away with you doers of iniquity for I never knew you , and said further as many as are called few are chosen proving that the receiving the Holy spirit does not necessarily mean you are saved in the end it is by faith , wholeheartedly faith when such faith is evident we will produce fruit in all good works as we allow God`s indwelling spirit to move one gift is tongues through the moaning and groaning in utterance as the spirit allows we are cleansed renovated and healed to bring about a perfection of the saints , the statements that our sins may be blotted out is the renovation of the spirit and our hearts a true circumsision indeed , I love you too brother and know God will fill you and you shall be satisfied .

Apostle2013, I have always felt the onesness of our spirits. It is like I know God will make us perfectly one, becasue we seek and strive for HIS WILL. And it is His will that we are perfectly one. That is why I answer with the greates of love in me to make us more one this morning.

My brother we do NOT receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit when we are called. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the glorification of God in the man he baptize. The Holy Spirit is the GLORY God gives to a man to be perfect. And that happenes in the instand the Holy Spirit FALLS on a person. The Holy Spirit FILLS overflows and even SURROUND such a person.

Let me share this Scripture with you and you will see when God glorifies people with the filling (baptism) Born of God and Absolute holiness and glorification of FLESH. When God baptize with the Holy Spirit, that moment God makes the Saint perfect. Saints are people that are already HOLY but not glorified with Holy Spirit YET. God has a THREE part salvation and ALL is done here on earth.... God says ... He foreknew, and He called, and He justified, and He GLORIFIED.... All Four done, one before the earth was made, the other three RIGHT HERE ON EARTH. God calls you here, he justifies you here and He glorifies you here. And you know have the Holy Spiri tin you AFTER HE glorified you with HIMSLEF!

When God sanctify/justify a sinner God REMOVES all sin from that person. God does it by his repentance, and by God's forgiveness. When the sinner is REMOVED from all sin, that man is as pure as God is pure. He is as removed from sin as God is removed from evil. This SET APART from evil is sacntification/justification. This sinner is now a SAINT. A Saint is SET APART, but he is not yet ENLIGHTENED! He is holy, but not perfect. Saints do not sin and they do not need to be removed from evil, they are saints becasue they ARE removed from evil. They sin no more, but they are not yet empowered with God! They are in GOD but God is not yet IN THEM.

God's Spirit does not EVER move into a sinner. God's Spirit only moves into SAINTS.God seperates the vessel before HE FILLS IT. God cleans all vessels of all dirt and evil before HE FILLS it.... Let us make our own parable today....
There is a ship with BAD cargo sailing from China to Africa. But God does not want this ship with that cargo in Africa, God wants this ship with HIS GOOD stuff (available in Australia) delivered in Japan. Now how will God do this? I mean this ship is already full of evil on his way to Africa.

Well God is Lord and He knows how to do things. So he will lay it on the heart of the Captian to command all bad things to be thrown off the ship into the ocean and also to steer to Australia (God's calling) As the Captian now steer AWAY from Africa he steers to Australia, and all the way He gets rid of the BAD stuff that is NOT ALLOWED in Australia (sacntification and justification all in repentance).... By the time the Captian wants to enter port in Australia the inspectora find NO BAD on the ship and the ship may enter into port. (this is a saint going into God) Now God loads the ship (the saint) (the EMPTY CLEAN SHIP) with the GOOD stuff (the Holy Spirit, HIMSLEF) and GOD HIMSELF puts HIS CAPTAIN on the ship HIMSELF.

Now that ship is FILLED with GOD and GOD IS NOW IN THE SHIP. God is the NEW captain, and even the SHIP is wanshed and polished by the harbour personell. (Jesus presenting God with a ship, without spot or wrinkle) (God in the Saint, The fulness of the Holy Spirit in the saint). And that ship is now 100% under the will of God. A Ship full of GOOD things on his way WERE God wants him to GO BLESS OTHERS.... (God in the Saint is the FATHER IN ALL HIS CHILDREN, IN ABOVE AND THROUGH THEM ALL... ) Look God furnished the ship so that the ship can be perfect, unto all GOOD WORKS...

How do you like our parable? Good one is it not. And if you look at Scripture this is in line wit hthe teaching of the Word. I dreamed about this one evening. And I knew exactly how it fitted in with many other parables. Imagine the captian of the ship going all the way, and when Port control gives him the permission to enter port he decides to go back to China, and not enter port... MAN will that ship sink or what? Or wehn he gets to port and the inspectors find one hidden bag of drugs and they banish the ship from australian waters... See we can fit plenty of Scriptures in here, with a little understnading. That one bag is a sin the CAPTIAN did not want to leave behind... That one sin is the (No saint) no ENTER into GOd. In the port is NO BAD THINGS. IN God is NO SIN. The marrow gate is the PORTMASTER giving permission (Jesus is the Port Master) And the permission is a CLEAN CONSCIENCE... And so we can go on...

I know you will enjoy this... May God use our vessels FOR HIMSLEF. Amen!

My dear friends PAstac and Apostle. You both knwo me quite well. Do you think I will EVER refuse a holy man if He wants to teach me something? You know I will not. But do you think I will be foole by a FALSE HOLY MAN? You both know I cannot be fooled no more. I know God and His will, and the false has NO TRUTH in him. That is how I know he is FALSE. No God no truth. And False do not have God.

1 John 4... Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1Jn 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Thank You Lord Jesus that You are my teacher and I know You because I searched You. Lord I Trust only You to complete me. Amen!
Apostle thank you for the blessed words that God will fill me... You are truly a blessing to me. May I also bless you with this.... Father let thou will be done in Apostle and Cobus, as it is done in heaven, and Lord in Pastac as well, AMEN!
Lord let us forget ourselves and let us REMEMBER only YOU... Amen! Lord crucify all three of us and Lord let YOU be the FATHER in all three of us. Amen!

Cobus all that is being said to you is this. Your approach and how you word things is very misleading and very confusing at times. You seem to have a mix of what you want to say and what you say and that in itself causes confusion.

We all can quote scripture and can all understand albeit at different levels I'm sure but your understanding is no more God inspired than any other. You seek God as do others. You interpret as do others how are you always right and never ever wrong that is a scary thought.

You have made statements that are in correct and you have gotten off track in several post and I still love you. But! You are not the sole authority on the bible. My relationship and my understanding are gifts God has refined over the years and I see all sorts of teaching that you have distorted. Taking the word out of context to prove a point is pointless.

I have studied for more than 20 years bible topics and dove deep in Gods word and to this day I am still learning. I always wanted to be a preacher since I was a boy that is what I lived for. I have seen God move in his word and I know more than I share because I have to be wise with the word. But I do share and I am obedient. You seem to know a great deal about bible stuff but it has to be agreeable with the body to reach people. You quote all the scripture to prove points but you miss the Spirit of the very words you often share You make a lot of sense then you say something that is wayyyyyyyy of track that may be a cultural thing or how to express yourself I don't know.

But either way you have to be willing to except that you don't know it all and sometimes you are flat out wrong! We all are guilty. And quoting scripture will never erase our wrong understanding until we renew our thinking! We all can learn to agree with the word but I don't sign off on scripture just because its scripture it still has to be applied correctly and in the proper context to receive the fullness of that word. The scripture tells us some are ever learning yet never able to come into the knowledge of the truth!

I guess that is because of the leaning to our own understanding and unrenowned thinking! Here is what I am saying to you with scripture reference highlighted for clarity and in context.

2 Timothy 3

King James Version (KJV)

3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
[SUP]5[/SUP]Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
[SUP]7[/SUP]Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Amen!

Cobus, be very careful with this. Here is an experience I had.

I had studied scripture for 45 years, humble before my God. I had taught Sunday School for 20 some years, I wanted to serve my Lord. I went to a bible class one year in Old Testament, I could never understand that although I had even memorized much of the New Testament. The teacher believed every word of the Old Testament. I was outraged. It was, I said, denying the power of Christ, and that teacher was doing this in my very own church. I did everything I could to get this terrible thing stopped, as my warped understanding was at that time.

Then I found a man who knew ancient Hebrew language, he knew ancient Hebrew culture, and he could communicate to my understanding what Old Testament scripture was saying and how Christ said the same thing.

I had to go to this teacher to confess what I had done and try to make amends. I had to go to my minister, also. Humiliating. Cleansing.

I am still working my very best I know how to spread the word of God as clearly as I can. But I am always aware that I could read the words God spoke with in the wrong way, and again, I have had to apologize because I found it was me speaking and not the Lord.

Be very careful to listen when other Christians tells you that you have it wrong, we all need to listen to how others see things, too.

Fasting and prayer is important it is vital to an not only empowerment but a cleansing of the Spirit and apurification of the heart along with the word , sometimes God cleanses all at once , but lately God wants an empowerment of the entire body but because of the apostate state the church it is in . It is hard what is happeningg in this world to see so many condemmed but they are overpowered by a spirit of dilution to blind their eyes . There is much our God wants us to abide by but very few will listen bringing in rememberance as many are called but few are chosen .the holy spirit gift is for empowerment and transformation .

Try one day of the week and fast one whole day locked in a room no other human contact and pray in the spirit no food or water one whole day praying in the spirit and read the word alongside . I promise God will give an increase .
