There is an ironic paradox of human existence, something I have observed in female-male relationships and in social situations for many years.
Sometimes a person wants a certain thing, say that it is a man who wants a woman. And the more he wants her, the less she wants him. But when he stops wanting her, he gets her attention.
Or another thing, when a child has no interest in a toy, but when another child picks it up, the child then wants that toy. And when the child drops the toy, the other child no longer has much interest in it.
And like this is the scenario here. The more the West repels the muslim people, the more the muslim people will desire to destroy that repelling force.

Islam is an evil religion. As is Buddhism and all other religions. However, this is supposed to be the land where someone can practice their religion without interference from the government. Let the Muslims come. Let anyone come to the United States. Let's not destroy the American dream in order to protect it. If we are to fail, let us fail for who we are, not because of who someone else is.
I'd wholeheartedly agree. If anything, posts in this thread are another unfortunate manifestation of how fragile civil rights and liberties can be in the absence of a diverse plurality of views and beliefs. Immigration restrictions on the basis of a religious preference would be unthinkably despicable in a nation that prides itself as the apex of the free world. We're a pluralistic, democratic civilization.

We are a Country that is supposed to be primarily Christian. Did you forget that ?
Are you a Christian ? Do you believe Jesus Christ came as our Sacrificial Lamb,
nailed to the Cross, shed His Blood so we can be Christian, by receiving Him as
our Savior? Do you believe in the need of repentance? Do you believe Christ is
Prince of Peace ? If you are Christian and believe in Christ as Savior, you can
understand where we stand when we refuse to accept religions outside of Jesus
Christ. That is why we take a stand for our Lord and refuse to accept any other
gods.
