I'm pretty sure I've made a thread like this before, but I'm not about to be accused of grave-digging and contributing to the zombie thread apocalypse. Because that just ain't cool. So anyway...

I know lots of you are busy, busy little bees (is that offensive? I can already tell someone will be offended by that...), especially since it's summer time and there are more interesting things to do than waste away in front of your computers...

So whatcha all up to? What does your average day look like right now? Any big summery plans? Any serious sun burns to report? BBQs to attend?

Note: I currently have no life, and am living vicariously through you... Ooh, does that make me creepy, or just boring?

Carry on...

I never said it had to be interesting :p
Just, you know, what do you do with your time?

Here's an average day for me (and my summery plans):
Wake up before 7:00 a.m.
Consume a ton of coffee while also doing mom stuff; chasing kids, changing diapers, arguing with a three year old over whether we should watch Tangled or Bubble Guppies, helping my daughter walk around the house, hunting down mysteriously vanished toys, convincing screaming kids that they're not actually dying, teaching my son to read, briefly day dreaming about a quiet, solitary life on an island somewhere, building blanket forts and block towers and roads made of books...
NAP
Lots of CC while also doing mom stuff- answering my son's five hundred questions (oh yes, it's the "Why?" stage around here), cuddling the baby, preventing toddler wars...
Dinner!
Story time
bed time for noisy munchkins
Painting and/or more CC

See? Not exciting.
And the only plans I have this summer are to start this local group I can't shut up about, and not die from the heat.

I went to the beach last week for several days, but otherwise, I've just been working on my Calculus II and Financial Accounting classes and helping with my church's VBS.

Right now VBS is in full swing, and I coordinate that so I'm tweaking things during the day, and then leading VBS in the evening. Afterward I lock up the church, trudge home, and tweak some more. Rinse, repeat - for the next 4 days.

On Sunday I'll be taking a small group of teenagers to a youth conference about 16 hours from here. Get to drive the big ol' church van... not really looking forward to that. AM looking forward to the conference itself though. We get back home July 4th.

After getting home from the conference I will be teaching my younger kid how to drive, getting her driver's permit and later, her license. Will also be helping my older kid apply to colleges, write essays, and work out financial aid possibilities for next year when she graduates.

I also have plans to paint my end tables and sofa table white. Possibly paint a bedroom. Maybe paint a bathroom, which involves stripping wallpaper so that's waaayyyyy down the list of things I want to do.

Various church projects and plans for work. Bookings on the weekends for birthday parties, grand openings and family reunions. The Usual.

And those are my summer plans. :)

You're a hero! Thank you. I shudder to think what might have happened to us all if you hadn't stepped up to the plate.

I work everyday but mon and tues, so today I slept in till like 10, caught up on the past five days of shows im currently watching, ate lunch, played golf, fixed beef stroganoff for dinner, watched some sporting events I missed and am now answering this thread. Tomorrow I will be grocery shopping, picking up the lovely paycheck, and perhaps going to karaoke night at my local spot.

I am on overdrive as I have a big project coming up in October.

Until then it is a lot of presentations, business plans, official tours, meetings and more meetings. Yes, I am a workaholic and I am infectious. :p
Other than that, I am renovating my home so I spend the evenings on planning the next day's activities. I log in to CC just before I sleep while I'm also watching the World Cup.

I am writing for a few newspapers and doing some freelance work for some local companies. I just started working with a group to start a new non-profit organization in the county that will network all of the existing non-profits so they can reach their clients better and utilize their tools better.

I am also working with my pastor on church promotions and marketing. Next month I am going to a Casting Crowns concert, and in August I am going to a Third Day/For King and Country/Mandisa concert-festival.

My clock goes off at 7 am
I'm at work by 8
I watch grown children for 8 hours and usually get cussed out a few times...and then hugged about 18 times.
I go home and help my mom with dinner between 4-5
Then I either go to my room to clean something or watch something with my dad...
My little brother comes in my room and ask about my day then tells me about his most recent superhero invention and to show me the pipe cleaner figure head of it. ..He makes everything out of pipe cleaners.... Our conversation usually last a good hour or so. I clean some ... usually the rest of my day was occupied with wedding plans for my sister....but she just got married so we shall see what my new schedule is. Then I get on cc and unwind then I sleep

This sounds like a well-balanced day. I mean this sincerely. You live like "Family Guy" and I live like "The Simpsons".

My kids are on summer break, I've been hanging out with them. Going to the park or Zoo, swimming, whatever.

In July VBS starts, they'll go to that, and then August they go back to school on the 22nd. Then on September 4th, we are flying to Portland Oregon for my Brother's wedding. Summer is usually busy. :)

On a work day, I wake at 7am.
Get ready for the day.
Have breakfast.
Go to work - teach primary/elementary children for the school day.
Return home.
Have an afternoon snack.
Watch some TV or read a good book.
Surf the net, catch up on CC
(recently) Talk with Arlene and Jim.
Make tea/dinner, eat tea.
Do the dishes.
Surf the net, watch TV or read a good book.
Get ready for bed.
Go to sleep.

My non-working days look fairly similar to this but may include writing job applications, searching for jobs and doing odd jobs around the house, and of course more reading.

On Saturdays I generally sleep in and do odd jobs around the house. I sometimes catchup with friends over a meal and play a board game or something similar. On Sundays I sleep in, have a meal with the family and go to evening church.

This week I have my kids so I got dad duties :)
And there's work, chill time, listening to music. Went to a staff dinner tonight which was pretty cool.
It's winter in my part of the world, but it doesn't get too cold for long living in the tropics.
