Has God Spoken To You?
To start this off, I'll tell a few times that I believe God has spoken to me personally. I'm sharing my personal experiences, as I'm sure others will as well, so please be respectful. And this isn't about anyone proclaiming to be a "prophet" or anything like that, it's just simply a time when you 'thought' that God had spoken to you.

1. One time I was having a drink of cola, and all of a sudden in my head came "Why do you pollute your mind and body so?"

2. I had a friend tell me a message, while asleep (I was being spiritually attacked that night and slept on his floor), he was snoring and then suddenly said "It's alright. It's ok. You still have a lot more in your life left to do." Then a feeling of total calmness came over me like I've never felt before or since. It was amazing.

3. Recently, I can't remember the exact words, but I do believe that God gave me more insight into the whole satanic deception of "aliens" and "ufos" ("aliens" are in fact demons. If you want to see my story on that, check out my posts in the bible form "Are aliens Real? My true Story". Anyway, the message was that "aliens", which again are demons, will be used to explain the rapture to non-believers.

Please share any experiences you may have had...God Bless You!

God told me through His word that there will be no need to explain the rapture away, because it doesn't occur until He returns after the tribulation is over, right before He destroys the wicked with fire and sets up His Millennial Kingdom.

I have never experienced speaking with God. Yes he does reply with his actions....like when I have any problem I tell to God and he helps..but talking to God is I think something different and I would love know how exactly is he speaks with ppl. Like they hear a voice...or some thought comes in their mind..etc?Many thimes it happens that I think God is telling me to do something.....but later I come to know that it was not God..It was my thoght only...Yeah I know its funny...but it happens. I would like to know how exactly God talk to ppl...whoever has experienced please reply.

ahh yes silentweapon it is exactly as you describe, sometimes it can sound like our own thoughts but it is God, and other times it is distinct from our own thoughts it is much clearer than our own thoughts but similar. Ever had the thought that you should pray or read the bible? That is God speaking in your thoughts, but you probably think it is just yourself.

I believe God has spoken to me at different times. It seems to me the difference when he speaks to me as opposed to when it would be my own thoughts is it seems when God speaks that the information comes to me faster than I could have thought it, "quickening" comes to mind as a term to describe it.

I'm not the type of person to say that God spoke to me, but there was one time when something really did happen, and I think it's not boastful to tell about it because it was actually a rebuke from God.

One time I started to feel all fuzzy inside thinking about all that I was doing for God, after having Bible study on campus with many students. Then right at that moment (the moment when I was telling myself what I was doing for God) something hit me like a ton of bricks from heaven. It was a simple question: "What about your *******??". I can't tell you the last word coz the matter is too personal but it was regarding something that wasn't right in my life. This was the most extreme conviction of sin that I have ever felt in my entire Christian walk and it happened so suddenly, out of nowhere -- I would say it happened miraculously -- and as I said it happened right when I started to think that I was doing so much for God. I then cancelled all Bible studies -- started actually turning away students -- and devoted the next two years of my life to fixing that matter that God "spoke" to me about, and clearing my conscience.

I guess it shouldn't have been necessary for God to "speak" to me like that but I guess because of my blindness/hardness God needed to knock me over the head with a 2x4 to get me to correct a certain matter in my life.

Eternal Security is simply just accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, having faith in him and believing in him, walking with him, trusting in him, and being obedient to God. That's all. Some people twist it around and tell people that you can lose your eternal security, which isn't true. A true believer cannot lose their eternal secuity. It's a free gift from God to those willing to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. I have accepted Jesus, Praise God! This is what the "Good News" is. Eternal Security is based on Faith in Jesus alone, not works.

1. ETERNAL LIFE IS ETERNAL! John 3:15, 10:28, Romans 6:23, 1 John 2:25, 5:11, 5:13, etc.; By definition eternal means never ending. Once a believer has eternal life it can never be taken away. If it could be it would not be eternal!
Eternal also means that it has no beginning! If you had to gain it, you don

2. EVERLASTING LIFE IS EVERLASTING! Daniel 12:2; John 3:16, 3:36, 5:24, 6:40, 6:47; Romans 6:22; etc.; Likewise, everlasting life can never end. It is everlasting regardless of the believer

4. HEAVEN IS RESERVED FOR HIM! 1 Peter 1:4; An inheritance in heaven is reserved for the believer.
For the BELIEVER, not the one who once believed, or presently has a fruitless, non-saving faith. The Scriptures never promise these things to those who cease to remain, abide, and continue in the faith, or to those who cease to believe!

5. SALVATION (INHERITANCE) IS INCORRUPTIBLE! 1 Peter 1:4; No one can corrupt something God has made incorruptible.
Thank God that the inheritance is imperishable! We know that it will be there for genuine believers! But don
