Meshech is Moscow the capital of Russia today.
[SUP]
The Lord said Russia will attack Israel in the last day.
It will ally with Persia/Iran, Ethiopia, Libya and Gomer/Turkey

When this happen? Before or in the 7 years tribulation?
1[/SUP]
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

[SUP]2[/SUP] Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
[SUP]3[/SUP] And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
[SUP]4[/SUP] And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
[SUP]5[/SUP] Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
[SUP]6[/SUP] Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
[SUP]7[/SUP] Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
[SUP]8[/SUP] After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and isgathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
[SUP]9[/SUP] Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
[SUP]10[/SUP] Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
[SUP]11[/SUP] And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

This war is a conditional prophecy. It never will happen literally. Note that the text lists ancient weapons of war that are no longer in use today: "horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords."

However, the book of Revelation has updated this prophecy to occur after the millennium.

After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety.

What do you mean by not happen physically brother?

If not happen physically, is that mean happen spiritually? Can you explain how it happen spiritually?

If not happen yet because it will happen in the future Years. In the last day or in the day close to His second coming.

Why do you think this one is conditional? What OT prophecy did NOT literally come to pass?

I believe there is conditional prophecy, For example if you follow the Lord, than He will bless you.

But there is unconditional prophecy, for example the second coming of the Lord.

So brother, why you categories this prophecy as conditional?

I had already read the SDA slant. I want to know why you say this particular prophecy (ezek 38, 39) is conditional. What brings you to that conclusion?

And why not literal?
they really think it is conditional? A conditional prophesy would be useless as to its intent

No one claims that the prophecy was already fulfilled. I think it's reasonable to conclude that the prophecy will never fulfilled be based on the text which lists ancient weapons of war that are no longer in use today.

Ezekiel 39
Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. 10 They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel.

Thats not reasonable at all. That is trying to explain away something you do not believe.

Of course they would use weapons of their day, it is all they knew.

Prophesy is used to prove God is the one true God. If God makes prophesies which will never be fulfilled, Its use to prove that is destroyed.

You expected the ancients to use terms like F-15, WMD's and 'nukes'?

The conditions for the Second Coming have already been fulfilled. Christ died for us.

Ezekiel 38 & 39 was obviously conditioned on the obedience of Israel. Their probation has long since expired.

Food for thought. Connects some dots-ies if ya can.

Esther 3:1
Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite,

6 But he [a]disdained to [b]lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him who the people of Mordecai were; therefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus.

Ezekiel 38
And the word of the Lord came to me saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the [a]prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him 3 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord [b]God, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, [c]prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. 4 I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them [d]splendidly attired,
a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords; 5 Persia, [e]Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.

Esther 1
[ The Banquets of the King ] Now it took place in the days of Ahasuerus, the Ahasuerus who reigned from India to Ethiopia over 127 provinces,

Esther 8
So the king’s scribes were called at that time in the third month (that is, the month Sivan), on the twenty-third day; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded to the Jews, the satraps, the governors and the princes of the provinces whichextended from India to Ethiopia, 127 provinces, to every province according to its script, and to every people according to their language as well as to the Jews according to their script and their language.

Besides making God a liar.

Revelation 18 reveals that the judgment on Babylon (USA) will be to be burned by fire. Nuclear fire is fire.

Probation? Gods covenant with isreal was nto conditional. It never has been, the only thing which has ever been conditional between God and them is whether God blesses them as a nation or not. His covenant with them still stands.

OT prophesies state they will turn away, reject their messiah God will give his word to the gentiles, but they too will fail and walk away. Then Israel will repent and turn back. And God will remember his covenant with their fathers.

If We are on probation as believers. We are in serious trouble, if God does not keep his covenants he calls eternal, then we have no hope.

Babylon is not the USA. It is a false religious system which is worldwide in scope.
