Added Field to Profile

I'd like to see in the profiles someones denomination or church affilation.
Knowing this would help us better understand why they think or say what they do.

This and similar have been suggested before. I believe they don't want to add these fields because it might create more division and judgment. These things can easily be put in under the 'About' section of a profile anyways.

Yea but then its voulntary, if even considered. When I joined the Baptist board I had to provide that I was no as well as how did I know I was saved.

Many of the fields on profiles here are optional. We do not require that someone be a Christian to join CC so it would be pointless to require that someone list denominational affiliation when many users have none because they are not Christian, and many who are belong to non-denominational churches.

Unlike some boards that require users be a christian or a specific denominational affiliation, we choose to provide a clean and safe site to all persons who abide by our terms of service.

Yea the first week was confusing trying to figure out who was confused doctrinally vs who is in a religous cult and which cult they were in. You also learn quickly who not to respond to.
