That is the point Scuba, it is not the Truth, and I know it, because the mind of the Christ is in me, and HIS Spirit dwells in me. You only know the erroneous fact that you were taught, I know HIM, and I KNOW what we believe, and it is not what you were taught that we believe. I need to kick the dust from my feet now, and go on to someone else.

1 John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Doesn't this post assume that you are to follow the Law for salvation - which in itself is Satanic?
So obeying God as a means to salvation is satanic? What about obeying God as the fruit of salvation? Is that still satanic? What about disobeying God as a fruit of salvation? Does that sound better?

Blain you keep bringing yourself into the discussion, as much as you and many others who dislike it. If you don't like the thread or don't have anything edifying to input then don't reply simple as that. People like to complicate their lifes.

Whether anyone seen Him go or not, Jesus doesn't lie, He told them before He died how long He'd be in there. I'll take His word for it.
How long Christ was "in there" has absolutely nothing at all to do with Christ saying to honor a day as special. What day he rose, and what day it was discovered Christ rose also has nothing to do with the fact that God blessed one day over the other days. We are to know of the three days, we are to know about the discovery when he was gone from the grave, and we are to know God blessed one day. We are to accept scripture in faith.

Let's look at baptism by looking how it fits with all the rest of what God tells us to do for our sakes.

It is something we must do as a work for the Lord, so it is no something God looks at to determine if we should be saved or not. The people who decide that stops them from ever looking for works the Lord suggests for us can just read no further or think about it no further. For them, it is dumped from scripture like the ten commandments are dumped.

For all other believers, baptism includes water, so we need to know how the Lord sees the symbolism in water. Usually, living water is specified or water that flows, and Christ explained it when Christ told the woman at the well he gave living water. It is a new beginning after cleansing.

From all scripture, we learn that what we do physically is important, but only when it is the result of what we do spiritually. So we know that ritualistic or legalistic baptism has no meaning or results, but when it is combined the Lord is there and there is a supernatural happening connected with it.

If we put all of these things together, we need to be baptized, not for our salvation but for our walk close to the Lord. There are great blessings we get from this, but it must not be done legalistically.

Only One obeyed as a MEANS of salvation.
Our obedience is disobedience when compared to His obedience.
So yes, our obedience as a means of salvation is satanic.

Is'nt that just being a little overly dramatic on your part? I mean seriously.. People are bound to disagree on when the sabbath is..personally I think it's Sunday but other's say Saturday..There is really no need for name-calling though.

Galatians 4:9-11 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Galatians 2:4-5 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: to whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Galatians 5:13-14 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

And just shame on anybody who would express or imply that any brother or sister in Christ is suffering from Satanic deception, simply for the day they worship, which is to say the Holy Spirit is a failure in all these believers, to guide them into truth. I say any such man, is rather, a foul liar.

The important thing is the hear the good news of the kingdom and be converted. Does not matter if it is saturday or sunday.
or what day it is.
That is taking the focus off the gospel.
[h=1]2 Corinthians 6:2[/h] [SUP]2 [/SUP](For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

I can not see how focusing on a day is wrong. Jesus said go and make disciples, not this day is bad, and this is bad.
It is taking away from the whole point of our purpose here and focusing on the wrong things.
There is a lot of this stuff going around. Focus on the lost. M-S.

A bit, perhaps, but it is scripturally accurate. Better to be overly dramatic in ones defense of the gospel than to sit silent, IMHO.

Good point, and that is exactly why we must resist false doctrine. It takes away from the true word that brings us salvation.

James 1:21 "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls."
