I already know why. There are only two views. The true view recognizes having to go to the cross and suffering persecution for the sake of the truth. The other view is a false hope that we can go to heaven yet compromise integrity by self-deceit and the delusion of cleverness to escape the cross and be comfortable in this world.
nope.
It's because your view takes far too many liberties with the Word.
Taking what is clear and what cuts to the heart,
and making it obscure and impersonal, (which we both know is created to patch up an old mistake.)
Our goal here on earth is to give the message of hope to the lost, and serve our brethren selflessly, both of which prepare our hearts for the Coming of our Savior.
Our goal is
not to predict His Coming. He says clearly that such a goal is unobtainable for man and angel alike.
I don't doubt your faith, as I have appreciated several of your comments that were not relating to prophecy.
But on this topic of the End Times prophecy, I must disagree with your approach, and your conclusion.
We must not confuse our suffering for our political, personal, or even theological views as being persecution for the sake of Christ.
Persecution comes from those who hate Christ, and who love the things of this world.
Being looked down on for having a fringe doctrine is not persecution.
It's simply a result of living in a fallen world, and being a fallen creature. We all go through that type of persecution in some way or another.
(pm me if you care to hear my testimony. you may understand what I mean about persecution once you know me better, and it's easier to open up the Scripture together when theirs a relationship growing, rather than just banter)
