Sorry but I missed the "excellent point"
If you are given a puppy for free but it comes with the condition you must work to take care of it (feed, water, bathe, take to vet) then how does your work in taking care of the puppy take away from the fact it was given to you for free?

Christ shed His blood for all men, Heb 2:9, so why are all men not saved? Heb 5:9 for all men will not obey Christ.

excellent point! in fact this is what we have been saying all along. of ourse if I treat it well, I will get great blessings from it. if not. I will not benefit from it, BUT IT IS STILL MINE!
In fat, this puppy was offered to 6 of us.
2 rejeted it because they did not want it. One tried it out because he was not sure he trusted it would benefit him, so the owner let him try it out but said he would have to recieve it fully before it was actually his. The guy ended up giving it bak never having owned it. 1 Guy tried to pay for it, because he did not like receiving charity, which offended the giver so he did not recieve it. 2 guys took it with gladness. 1 guy took great are of it, and learned what he needed to do to benefit the most from it. The other did not take good are of it, And complained all the time as to why he was not benefiting like others. (BUT THE GIFT WAS STILL HIS)

No man an obey Christ morally good enough to earn a piece of manna, let alone eternal life with Christ. All we an do is recieve the gift in faith. like the 2 who recieved the puppies in faith the puppies would benefit them. . That is obeying the gospel.
Well, according to some posting here "not doing any works" is all that is needed to qualify one to be save. JWG meets that qualification.
No one has argued salvation can be earned.
Can one receive the free puppies then not work to take care of them? No, for the free puppies came with the condition you take care of them. And that work in caring for them in no way earned you the free puppy
Working to take care of the puppy was a condition that came with the puppy. You are not going to be given a puppy you will not take care of. If you do not work to take care of it then you give it back.
The point being avoided is your working to care for the puppy does not in anyway mean you earned the puppy.

You do every day stating there are conditions, and it can be lost.
Stop saying no one is saying it when you know you are.
So you admit you have to earn the right to keep the puppy. thus earning the puppy.
Why do you continue to fool yourself into thinking your not earning. You just proved your trying to earn the puppy,
If the condition is I must take care. then I must earn the right to have the gift in order to keep it. Basic english 101. Or have you forgotten how things work.

The first few post I made in this thread have proven free gifts can come with conditions and working to meet those conditions earn nothing.

here's an example of the issue:
God owed Naaman nothing but out of God's grace He would freely heal Naaman's disease. But God's free gift of healing came with the conditions that Naaman dip 7 times in the Jordan River.
Simple question: did Naaman doing the work of going and dipping mean his healing was earned and not of grace?

Is this a promise? What is the condition of this promise? whosoever believes in him
Some are not saved because:
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned alrady, because he hkath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Who is condemned? he who has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
Is that a promise? Is it assured that 'he who has not believed is condemned? So if that promise is given as a surety why not John 3:16?
