There once was a poor slave girl wore rags,
who had fell in love with a wealthy man.
He befriended her and thought he fell in love
because she comforted him. He didn't
see her worth he just seen what could help him get by.
He was ashamed of her because she was poor,
a poor slave girl in rags.
He seduced her into the secret of the night,
Telling her he loved her only once, and then never again.
Told her his sorrows and she knew his pain
she let him be with her to comfort him.
She survived on the one 'I love you' for seven years,
and she never heard it again.
She was in love with him, but he did not see her worth.
He only seen a poor slave girl in rags.
She did not blossom but withered and appeared even more
poor and ragged. She felt like she was dying in her depression.
Wondering if she would ever be worth something one day.
He did not love her,
He would replace her,
and every time that failed
he would return to her arms.
He kept her hidden.
For she had no worth in his eyes.
Then later came along a princess who wore a crown,
had heard his pain but she did not let him be with her.

was a strong protector of her crown.

While the wealthy man and the princess got married
that story ended there with a happy ending. The
wealthy man had forgotten all about the
poor girl he replaced, since he had no love for her anyway.
She cried for days, heartbroken watching
from a far off. On this cruel and heartless note
of his constant enjoyment of her suffering.
She wanted to stop existing.
She wanted to die, it just hurt so much.
He didn't care he wanted her to stop existing
to so she would be out of his way.
One day..
There was a Royal Prince riding in on
a white horse who had heard of the poor slave girl.
The prince was in love with the girl,
and it wasn't the lust type of love it was the
adoration of being in love with every part of
her, her mind, her soul especially her nearly dead spirit.
He had spent some time talking with her, looking
beyond her rags and chains. He would
call her Princess, and shower her with gifts,
and speak of her intelligence and that she could be more.
She got angry because she didn't believe him however.
She didn't see these things. Only the heaviness of
chains that clung her hands to the dirt.
He kept telling her of his kingdom and of the beautiful things he had
for her.
One day he redeemed her and bought her from her owner,
and carried her off toward his kingdom.
She spent days hiding in the servants room cleaning
as a housekeeper and serving him food.
The Prince looked at her oddly, and smiled.
"I bought your freedom, you are free, you are a
Princess.
and no longer my slave...you don't have to earn
your way to be with me."
"I don't know how to be free...That life is all I have ever known." she could only reply.
Holding the chains up that were still on her wrist.
She kept them to remind herself of where she came from and who she use to be.
"Then let me teach you, let me protect you,
let me love you. I paid a great price to have you
in my courtroom.
A price no man could ever pay.
No man could ever love you the way I love you.
She began letting go of her old life,
the poor slave girl she use to be began to die inside,
The chain she held in her hand was the hardest thing
to let go, since it was all she knew.
The Prince helped her let go,
"You are worth more to me,
this doesn't belong in my kingdom...
I just want you."
he threw the chain away into the darkness.
She began to blossom in beauty and bloomed into
one of the most beautiful flowers in the kingdom.

She stayed near the Prince who loved her,

I had this dream a couple weeks ago..
I seen you, you wanted to talk to me
and you told me to meet you at this crowded place.
So I came to meet you,
it was like a giant circus tent, there
were others there.
I finally got to the end of it,
it looked like it was empty.
There you were standing there,
you were about to talk to me and
some girls came by, and you disappeared,
as if you couldn't be seen with me.
that was the end of it.
