There is of course God's truth in the 4 gospels which concern the life on earth of the Lord Jesus. But much of what the Lord Jesus said was directly for the Jews living under the Law of Moses. The era of the Law ended after the Lord Jesus fulfilled that law. He offered Himself as the Messiah to Israel, but they rejected Him as a nation. Then He began a new work, called The Church, which is the sum total of everyone who trusts Christ as Savior -- The Church is not any organization or denomination, certainly not the pope's organization. The scripture written specifically to our age starts in Acts 2, after the end of the 4 gospels. The Lord gave Israel laws, but wrote letters to the Church. Those letters are in the New Testament.

What I am trying to tell you is that the most relevant scripture for our age is not the "sayings of Jesus to the Jews" in the gospels, but the epistles, the letters to Churches (& Acts).

In all the discussion, we ought not be heartless for the great suffering indeed. But there are forces beyond the human in the return of Israel to the land YHWH gave to Israel so long ago. The return was prophesied. The great opposition to Israel only makes sense as satanic.

What would be the big deal if the moslems moved about 5-50 miles away to Jordan & Egypt? They don't have to have tiny Israel, except for supernatural evil forces at work.
 
Finally the UN and the US condemned the Palestinian truce breakers without adding Israel into their moral equivalency formula.
Clueless Kerry is still thinking how to spin this into another tragic 'ceasefire'.

ps, another missle/Israel red alert just sounded.

Actually living disgusting lives is the common manner of living for the natural man, including Americans, Europeans, Africans, and everyone else in the world with whatever religion they have. Romans 1-3 describes men:

"being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, unmerciful: who, knowing the ordinance of God, that they who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with them whot practice them. Wherefore you are without excuse, O man, whosoever you are who who judge: for wherein you judge another, you condemn yourself for you who judge do practice the same things."

Of course not all men have in mind exterminating Jews and conquering the world by the sword. But all men have disgusting lives until the Lord Jesus gives them new birth.

Ideally IMHO, the Islam-religionists in Israel would be moved to Egypt and Jordan peacefully, but I doubt that this will ever happen in this age.

Apart from the grace of God, we all live disgusting lives. There is deliverance from the disgusting life in the Lord Jesus, who loved all men when He died on the cross for them. And we must love them too and seek their well-being. As to the Islamics in Gaza, imagine that if we had been born there, we would very probably have the same attitudes they do.

still, in this fallen world God has given govt's to bear the sword for a reason. And so when one group breaks truces 6 times with added atrocities like kidnapping...I root for God's justice to be done...on a human level of course :)
 
Yet again God will use the ruthless death worshipping Islamists to bring glory to himself. Of all the outcomes of this...,that one I am sure of.
 
The reason why Israel is dealing with Hamas today and other enemies around her is because they didn't follow God's commandment back then and did not destroy all the inhabitants of the promised land, men, women, children and livestock.

However, those dwelling in the Land today who wage war against Israel will be destroyed and God is against them. This is pretty clear from Ezekiel 28:

24 "And there shall no longer be a pricking brier or a painful thorn for the house of Israel from among all who are around them, who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord God."

25 'Thus says the Lord God: "When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.

26 And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God." ' "

As Christians, we should NEVER forget that Israel is and will remain God's Chosen People. God will destroy Israel's enemies. Any enemy of God should be an enemy of ours. Besides, these terrorists, consider us Christians as their enemy every bit as much as they consider Israel their enemy. No true Christian should stand with Islam!!

I support them regardless of the theology....... God still does...... If He's keeping 144,000 for Himself, He has not forsaken them.

Besides this, there's a difference between true Jews, & Ashkenazi Jews, which are not Jews at all. Most of those "trouble-making" Jews are Ashkenazi (Rothchilds, for instance).

Isn't it interesting that this time, Egypt, Jordan and the Saudis are on the side of Israel in this war? Looks like the whole landscape of middle eastern alliances is about to change.

Israel is under attack as God said it would be in the last days. "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem." Zechariah 12:2

Today Jews from around the world are being returned to Israel. The Word of God tells us that it is Christians (believing Gentiles) who will bring them home. "Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders." (Isaiah 49:22)

Operation Tarshish is a ministry which God has raised up to bring His Covenanted Peoples, the Jews, home to Israel, the Land He swore on oath to give them.

"I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Genesis 12:2-3

I don't think anyone here supports the bombing of children. I see you have your stake firmly planted into the alleged moral high ground. Your position is similar to Godwin's law. Now that you've stated that children are being "deliberately" targeted.....at least in your eyes.....the argument is won....by you.
 
the protective dome works in israel score so far israel civilian death 1 ,, palestinian civilian death 1200+ ( over 600 children) the dome works ,,,, why massacre the children

SO if Israel removed its protection and allowed hundreds of its civillians to die that would make it better?

trying to use death tolls to keep score is just as evil as killing children.

No one wants to see civillians killed, Israel does not target civillians, its just that Hamas puts civillians in the way, so when something blows up civillians die.

I am amazed that you can not see the evil of Hamas is using its population as human shields and refusing aid to be sent in, instead using lack of aid as more propaganda , portraying more human suffering to the media which the likes of you lap up and swallow hook line and sinker.
