It was not meant to be taken literally because the apostles used the term 'father' all the time in reference to their spiritual fathers, such as Abraham. It cannot be taken literally because it destroys the meaning of 'father'.
It teaches against calling anyone father, rabbi, or master. Rabbi is the jewish word for teacher. "Mister" is a derivative of master.
Also, if this was to be a literal interpretation then both Peter and Paul openly broke it.
Tobit and Maccabees is not part of the KJV and can thus not be accepted. Yes, go ahead and reread Mat. 16

What translation are they to turn to, since King James didn't ordain another language be included in the translation? This is rubbish. It appears as if the Vatican and the Pope like to identify with the pagan religions like Mary being the Queen of heaven and the mother of God,and dipping a cross in water and calling it holy water,and other things they do like that,and I believe this is for a reason and that there has to be a false interpretation of the Bible based on the exaltation of man and nature worship that does not honor a personal God but the God of forces which all religions will accept,which is the beast's agenda to establish a world that is all about people with no religious or governmental authority above them,which the Bible says he will not honor the God of his fathers but will honor the God of forces and he will cause witchcraft to prosper.
I believe the Pope will be the spiritual leader of it and the Vatican the headquarters for in order for this to happen it has to be someone with great influence in ther world but the Pope will not be the man of sin but the false prophet.

Firstly, I am not English speaking. Secondly, I know what I am dealing with and that is, the lie that is being spread by Satan's agents. Satan even used God's Word to trick Jesus and he failed. The church is doing that exactly.
Well said. There are many hidden facts that nobody knows about. There has even been a book published on one of the pope's sudden death after he told the other leaders in the church that he is going to disclose some financial facts on the Vatican Bank the bank owned by the Roman Catholic Church. That same night he was killed, and his body was then embalmed and that all within a period of 24 hours. The embalmer even claimed that his body was still warm when he got the body to embalm. There are many different things going on in all churches around the world and the safest place is to stay out of the world church as we know it today. Most of them are geared to enhance themselves with lots of money, status, lies and corruption etc. We need to be aware of what is going on and warn all those around us to open their eyes and to search for the truth. Do not accept everything that anybody says, even myself. Test it with the Word of God. Ask God to open your mind and heart before you start studying and only by doing that will you find the Truth.
