Ok, I know a cheesy statement. :)
But I have been trying to figure out how to sum up how Jesus works in our lives when it come to the debates about the law, or works, or many other topics here.

We had a guest in our home tonight, and he found the way here by useing map quest.
I realised that in many ways this is why it is so important to look to Jesus, and maby give a simple way to see this.

If one is trying to reach a goal, or destination, one cannot just remain in one place, or on one step, or action, one also must be willing to do the commands as well.
They look to map quest to reach the destination.
Simply because it brings all the ways, turns, commands, places one must travel, together, in order to reach the destination.
One trusts in the directions given, and applies them.

Now Jesus is much more reliable than map quest, and is much more!
Because He is the way, and overcame all so we in Him, will reach the destination.
For in all we are called to do, wether it is works, directions, commands, all is useless if we do not look in faith to Him, trusting that what He is giving to us, will bring us to that destination, the understanding in how to get there.
We need to go first in faith to Jesus, for He is what brings all given, to serve the perpose, the goal.
With out Him, all information, directions, commands, works, will not bring us to the destination.
We need Jesus to show us the way. :)

So yes, Jesus is more than map quest, He is the fuel, the vehicle, the direction finder,and director, He is the way when we put our faith in Him.

But maby by this simple comparison, we might finally see, that everything we keep claiming is the way, has no perpose or value, with out Jesus. :)

we have learned that 'balance' is the key;
in this world, with so much mis-information,
this is not an easy thing to achieve.

if we lean to much on 'grace', and we're not careful,
it will turn into a license to sin.

if we lean on the 'law' to much and are not careful,
we may start to take credit for our own Law-Keeping.

both can take us down the path of NOT being led
by the Spirit of Christ,, if misused.

ALL the Word of God is beautiful,
ALL the Word of God is full of depths and riches.
we desire that all The Word of God consume us
in our walk/behavior.

Applying God's Word to our daily lives, from moment to moment
is what we should all strive for,
when we do this in love and faith for our Christ,
then we will not fall into a ditch, we will walk the straight and narrow,
and therein, enter into Life.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.
For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
(1 Corinthians 3:18)

There is no such thing as relying too much on grace ...

John 1:14, 16-17 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

I love this scripture, when I was given my first bible, this was the scripure I chose to write beside my name in the binding. :)

Thankyou all for your words and scripures posted, you always encourage me in Jesus.
Even when Im not sure or agreeing :), for it is not about what we think we know, but all that is understood and given in Jesus!
