Yes Arlene! You are a blessing to others but it is also important to give others the opportunity to be a blessing to you. <3

I will keep you in my prayers.
Thanks, Raine. :)

So. I may kind of sort of need prayer at the moment because I am really, really spent and run down and generally worn out, all over.

Well, I've kind of been pushing myself at work to do everything for everyone and take up jobs that were not allocated to me in order to help others, but over a long period of time, I've finally come to my final straw and have burnt myself out. I've spent the past couple of mornings crying in my car before work, because the idea of getting through another day hurts my brain meats and I'm still struggling with telling people I can't do these extra jobs anymore.

And it's funny because for a long season, the Lord wanted me to learn what it means to solely rely on Him. It took awhile to break my pride, but I learnt to open up and cling to Him and trust. I happily came to a place where I was like, "God, it's just me an You, let's conquer the world!" Then God added, "Okay Arlene. Lesson 2: Loving others," and I responded with, "Okay, awesome, I'm up for it!" But it's not always easy and I realised I had to cling ever more so on to God to go through this intense learning season.

And now I'm learning what it means to rely on others and ask for help, and I can tell you right now, I would rather some other very uncomfortable situation than to ask for help. But I guess, relationships aren't just me actively loving others, but asking to lean on someone as well. So, I'm asking for prayers. I'm asking for help from my family, here, because I'm tired and worn out and have to learn to say, I don't always have it together. Prayers would be appreciated, greatly.

And there goes my pride....

I wish Pipp was here to bake me a cake. How does one woman master such awe inspiring cake baking skills?
At least you're not quick to anger. I've done this so many times to the point of frustrating myself. But instead of crying, it was more like an scream/yell.

These trials are there to help you understand more about yourself. To better equip you for the future if you intend on doing this again.

Got back from the vet. Woooooo, Mocha was not a happy camper when the vet came in. Nobody could get the muzzle on him. Like....nobody. We tried. We really did. What the vet did was actually get some bandaging, he cut a nice long strip of it. He quickly wrapped it nice and tight around his snout and tied it behind his ears.

Anyways, they swabbed his ear, and he definitely has a pretty bad infection. They gave us an oral AND topical antibiotic. Dad turned down the topical because of how...interesting today went.

The good thing is, which might be an answer to prayer, is they said to go ahead and do the oral antibiotic. If within I think a week it doesn't let up, they have a new product they could try to put in his ear, and it'd be just a one-time thing. It's kind of a gel that combats not only the yeast but also the bacteria and I'll spare you the boring details. But the one thing that did make me slightly concerned, but I'm not overly concerned is, that since the infection is just in one part of the ear, they talked about it it keeps going like this they also might sedate him, and take a closer look into his ear to make sure something else isn't causing it like a tumor. Ugh, I hate that word.
I hope the oral one does the job, but the topical one probably would have worked much faster. If there's any chance of still getting the topical one, I would get it.. but if its because it would be impossible to apply it then I understand that too.

Jullianna, you lil dickens you. Did the wise man happen to let you in on how staying on or being off the internet was going to change YOU?

I vote you stay :) You're worth a little more than that flimsy reason.
You win. :) But I won't be on as much as I was. :)

If the oral antibiotics don't work, then we will look into the slow-release gel that they can special order. They can help put it in his ear and it'll hopefully be an in and out job.

Why, when people get married, do they loose friends?
Seriously, I've tried several times to see an old friend recently, but every time we even get remotely close to being able to see each other, he backs out and/or says he has other things that need to be done.
I feel bad because the only time I ever see him is on accident. He goes to the same church but when he sees me, he doesn't come say hi anymore. It hurts because he used to care, he used to be my best friend, he used to make an effort, he used to be the big brother I never had....
Several people have just told me to let it go; that I have the only man I need in my life, and tons of other things about why it shouldn't matter that he's been avoiding me... But it does matter. I care

It might be that he wishes it was him you were marrying and so he would feel hurt and stuff.

have you ever 'liked' quite a few posts someone else has made and tried to be friendly only for them to ignore you completely and then turn around and immediately 'like' a post in which a faux-pas you've made is being pointed out?
sorry.
please disregard this.
slipped up.

Maybe his wife has a tendency toward jealousy. Maybe he's trying to keep the peace.

Or maybe it's a matter of propriety. Imagine this for a minute: You marry a guy, you and he are happy together, but every Thursday morning he has breakfast at a restaurant with a girl he used to go out with, because they are still really good friends. How would you feel? Mind you, I'm not saying you and your friend ever went out on a date, or that you meet him somewhere, but the analogy is still valid. Put yourself in his wife's place and his actions will become clear.

Or maybe he's just avoiding the temptation to stray. The longer he maintains a close relationship with a woman other than his wife, the better chance it has of becoming something more.

I'm asking a very serious question right now. Is it really possible that ISIS could reach America within 2 months?

Well... going back and reading the original post, you do have to admit it was a bit vague in that regard.

If your friend is single, disregard all I said previously.

Makes sense. Doesn't make me feel much better, but it makes sense.
