The Conquering Of Israel
Islamic tradition pictures the Mahdi as joining with the army of Muslim warriors carrying black flags. The Mahdi will then lead this army to Israel and re-conquer it for Islam. It is shocking and appalling to me that Obama is basically remaining silent on these beheadings, when they are just begging the US to act.
I guess eventually, no journalists will go into these hot spots, for not just fear of death, but that their country doesn't care.
It will be interesting to see if Britain reacts differently.

All Obama's inaction is doing is perpetuating the global impression that he's a weak leader and has no problem with terrorism befalling American journalists.

Obama is working on a strategy for Isis in Syria and Iraq, but is working with others in the area to take the lead on this and that we would be just air support.
Those of you who want something done now, and want to up and rush into this would be making the same mistake the Bushes made. They rushed in, in all out war and kept our soldiers over there longer than they should have for what ?
Nothing was accomplished, and Iraq is again under siege. Iraq needs to figure out their own governmental system to keep this from happening over and over again. They need to be able to fight their own battles with out us having to come in and wipe the advisory out all the time.
When it comes to Syria, remember Obama wanted to go into Syria, the American public told him not to.
Now you are all crying because he hasn't.

Given the content of the full video it would not be wise for President Obama to address this situation. Plus he is from last I saw to be holding a major summit about the very troubling war in Ukraine.

He should not handle it alone, like he has said all along, and is working behind the scenes and not letting it be known publically what all is being done.
I would rather see my president and congress be hush hush about any plans to go in as either aid or to war. Then lay all their cards out to the media that those who are against us have access to as well.
Example: How many people in the public eye knew about seal team six that went in and got Bin Laden before it actually happened. Nobody in the media or public eye.

Well to a degree they are so far being hush hush. All we know is major allies are meeting (or have now all ready met) about that situation. What exactly they resolve in said meeting, that is yet to be seen.

Yes, but you have others who keep constantly going around saying the president is doing nothing.
They sadly are projects of listening to bias or false media reports, especially those of a group of republicans who want nothing but to rush in to a war again and make the same old mistakes done during the Bushes administrations.
