Islamic tradition pictures the Mahdi as joining with the army of Muslim warriors carrying black flags. The Mahdi will then lead this army to Israel and re-conquer it for Islam. The Jews will be slaughtered until very few remain and Jerusalem will become the location of the Mahdi’s rule over the Earth. Rasulullah [Muhammad] said: "Armies carrying black flags will come from Khurasan. Khorasan is in todays Iran, and some scholars have said that this hadith means when the black flags appear from Central Asia, i.e. in the direction of Khorasan, then the appearance of the Mahdi is imminent. The Messenger of Allah said: The black banners will come from the East and their hearts will be as firm as iron. Whoever hears of them should join them and give allegiance, even if it means crawling across snow. [SUP]18

It is shocking and appalling to me that Obama is basically remaining silent on these beheadings, when they are just begging the US to act.
I guess eventually, no journalists will go into these hot spots, for not just fear of death, but that their country doesn't care.
It will be interesting to see if Britain reacts differently.

My name is Democrat. I'm a dumb liberal and responsible for the mass immigration of Muslims into the West. Now they cut off our heads, blow us up. and snipe us like the DC sniper. Obama is working on a strategy for Isis in Syria and Iraq, but is working with others in the area to take the lead on this and that we would be just air support.
Those of you who want something done now, and want to up and rush into this would be making the same mistake the Bushes made. They rushed in, in all out war and kept our soldiers over there longer than they should have for what ?
Nothing was accomplished, and Iraq is again under siege. Iraq needs to figure out their own governmental system to keep this from happening over and over again. They need to be able to fight their own battles with out us having to come in and wipe the advisory out all the time.
When it comes to Syria, remember Obama wanted to go into Syria, the American public told him not to.

He should not handle it alone, like he has said all along, and is working behind the scenes and not letting it be known publically what all is being done.
I would rather see my president and congress be hush hush about any plans to go in as either aid or to war. Then lay all their cards out to the media that those who are against us have access to as well.
Example: How many people in the public eye knew about seal team six that went in and got Bin Laden before it actually happened. Nobody in the media or public eye.

Yes, but you have others who keep constantly going around saying the president is doing nothing.
They sadly are projects of listening to bias or false media reports, especially those of a group of republicans who want nothing but to rush in to a war again and make the same old mistakes done during the Bushes administrations.
