There's a new "reality" show here in the good ole US of A called Utopia. 15 people are on 5 acres of land where they're given next to nothing to survive, they have to decide laws, rituals, religion, etc. The "social experiment" is whether or not a utopia can be created and sustained. It's completely ridiculous and insane. The producers didn't pick 15 people who would work together, of course, because that's not what drives growth or a good story. Conflict does. It's basic English Lit 101. Conflict is required to drive a story to an ending. It's basic sanctification as well. Progress cannot be had without pain, and to quote Wesley, "Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something."
Even the bible tells us that utopia without God isn't possible. But watching it play out on Fox is interesting so far. They have a preacher on there which they show praying for people, a little bit of preaching, etc. If nothing else, that's something.
