God's not going to condemn the bum on the street who has an old King James Bible (And who does not have access to a Lexicon). The Lord is not going to condemn the bum for not knowing Greek and Hebrew. Remember, it was the simple and poor man that Jesus had favor with most. The majority of the scribes (The men who wrote down the Law) is in whom Jesus had a problem with. Everyone here is defending the scribe position. Yet Jesus said "BEWARE OF THE SCRIBES." Sounds to me like folks are not listening to Jesus.
In other words, God is not going to condemn somebody for having too much faith within His Word.
For God's Word claims that it is perfect (Psalm 12:6 KJV) (Psalm 119:140 KJV) (Proverbs 30:5 KJV) and that it will be preserved (and or stand) forever (Psalm 12:7 KJV) (Isaiah 40:8 KJV) (1 Peter 1:25 KJV). Therefore, seeing Scripture plainly states these facts, it then becomes an issue of a test of your faith in God's Word (See the test the devil gave to Eve in Genesis 3:1 KJV); For one of the ways that the Bereans confirmed the "spoken Word of God" was with the "written Word of God" (See Acts 17:11). In other words, if the "written Word" was flawed in some way, then the Bereans could not confirm the "spoken Word."
For Jesus said, "It is written...". Did Jesus quote Scripture most of the time in a language that they didn't understand? That's kind of what everyone here is doing. However, in their doing so, they are denying how Jesus quoted Scripture and relied upon so as to speak plainly to people (So that they could do the same thing in emulating Him).
Here is but one of MANY EXAMPLES of how the word "all" does not mean "all" in the Bible.
John 3:26 "And they came unto John and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou bearest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and ALL men came to him."
{In these verses we see clearly that the word "ALL" does not in these instances mean every person without exception, but, rather, it means "all types of men". To say "ALL" always means all or should be understood to mean every individual in scripture is a misnomer. The context should always to be checked out for a qualifier.}

If you had a mother like mine, you would have read it all. She used it to teach me to read. I'm glad that we have other translations today. They do make study much easier. I love eSword's compare function. I'm planning a new trip through the Bible using it.
I believe Modern Translations can be useful in updating the old English. I read them as if sifting thru the dirt so as to get to the gold which is in the KJV, and the original languages. In other words, while they may be useful, they are not my final Word of authority because they do not all say the same thing exactly and various passages that are talking about God or his people is replaced with the devil.

For every time someone attacks the Word and says there are errors within it, each and every time God has rewarded me for giving me the spiritual understanding that those who don't trust God's Word entirely. For I realize that by faith comes and it comes by hearing the Word of God.And I also realize that without faith, it is impossible to please Him.

I hope that one day you will see how ridiculous the Cult of King James Only is, that the so called refined 7 times has been manipulated and the agenda made to fit the cherry picked verses. This is how cults are born and so we have it with King James only Cult.
You do realise that Gods word has been continually preserved through history, right from the start of the Church in 1st Century Bishops and other Christians translated texts into just about every known language through Europe. This continued non-stop and flourished with the printing press in the 1400s. Just about every nation had its own official bible in its own language. King James is a relative late comer to the process.
Trying to claim refined 7 times to the English translation can equally be made valid and applied to number of languages, especailly German.
This is another thread which your cult has derailed and changed into a King James Only rhetoric thread.

Here is an idea for you, How about starting your own thread, "KJV - vs - other Translations", instead of hijacking this one and turning it into a KJV ONLY debate.
But you don't understand. It ties into my intimacy with Christ. The KJV says study to shew thyself approved unto God. Many Modern Translations eliminate this part of it. I gain intimacy in studying God's Word and by believing every Word of it by faith that it is true and beneficial for me. For my faith comes from God's Word.
REMEMBER the KJV Translators said the Seventie, had added some things that were NOT IN THE ORIGINAL.
HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT, sense the KJV Translators were Paraphrasing, instead of TRANSLATING, large portions from earlier English versions, THAT THEY PROBABLY MISSED DELETING ONE OF THE NON-INSPIRED ADD-ONS.
AND NO, this is NOT discussing intimacy, and you know it. YOU are hijacking the subject and taking it to your favorite Subject to ARGUE ABOUT.

I believe such a topic ties into my intimacy with Christ. You don't. It's a matter of opinion and personal experience. I have experience that God's Word has proven itself to me in being true and trust worthy even in the most smallest details. God showing me the depths of His Word as I study helps me to appreciate the intimacy I have with Him as I walk by faith in His Word.

Then you do not understand what I mean by intimacy with CHRIST. It is a REAL PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP, not what version of the BIBLE you prefer to read.
It is about KNOWING that Christ is IN ME, and that I AM IN HIS Spiritual Body, intimately conversing with HIM in my mind. Being Taught by the Holy Spirit IN ME. A REAL, PERSONAL, INTIMATE, LOVING, RELATIONSHIP with my LORD.
It almost appears to me that you have settled for having a loving relationship with the KJV, instead of having a Loving Relationship with GOD.
