So much arguing...

I'm attempting to expose how arguments begin, so we all know who to watch for and avoid them as scripture tells us to do. Read all of my recent posts and follow them through and you ill clearly see what is and has been happening on CC for years.

The sad reality is there are posters who just don't like other posters for obvious reasons. And some of them will harass certain posters whenever possible.

Was on the secular board for a number of years and harassment from certain posters would drag on from thread to another until a full pledge war would break out. Had one incident here on CC and decided to confront the poster to end the harassment because the poster just didn't like me.

Preconceived ideas about another for a multitude of reasons usually causes the problems. Ego is usually the catalyst. A certain amount of pretense is also wanting others to perceive them differently than they see themselves deep inside. In a Christian chat there is even more potential for argument because the Word can be very convicting. In most cases the arguments are about law, grace, faith, obedience, justification, righteousness, etc. Many have diverse views of those things, but it is sad to argue rather than become humble by accepting the other persons understanding if it confirmed by other scriptures of truth. Many times people just pick out certain things from another person's post just for the sake of arguing, and throwing things in that are not relevant to what the other person said.

In summary, all things written in God's word fit together through Christ, and there should never be arguments deriving from personal interpretation by taking scripture purposefully out of context just to demean another person or to distort the truth by selective quoting. If we would just stop and think long enough that our view should be through the eyes of God and not through ourselves it would work and edify rather than tear apart as our Lord would have it.

I thought arguing with JWs, Mormons, LDS, & COC was bad enough...

My wife used to get angry because I'd invite the Mormons and Witnesses in for a discussion. I did get a free Book of Mormon out of one discussion as their promise to return and pick it up never materialized.

I've always invited JW's, Mormon's, and other religious sects into my house. No Muslims yet however. It is very interesting, and they have always been respectful. Even though I don't agree with all of their doctrines, we have always had good conversations without any argument or hateful attitudes between us. Now Christians can argue the best about law and grace better than any others I've talked with.

I think bringing about unity is the key. Instead of using the blame game on this site, we can argue against what is opposed to unity. Many teach disunity in New Covenant/Old Covenant. Not anything to do with made better, but use it to say God is not one but there is disunity. I think we can object. Many are using Holy Law given to us to cause disunity rather than helping us learn proper use of law. The concept of work is used the same way by not using all scripture has to say about it. Disunity, and opposing the knowledge that God is one and speaks with one voice is the major work of the anti-Christ, and I think it is fine to oppose these ideas.

Where is the written Law that teaches us unity?

If it is okay to 'argue and fight' even verbally to justify the truth that i am also called in and be witness to, then show me according to the Law of 'unity' of the New Covenant, that it is allowed and it is not at all murder and you are not in 'lawlessness'?

Prove yourself worthy to believe in, dearly RedTent, that in the Law of 'unity' of the New Covenant, it is not entirely based on the 'All Scripture', the concept of work is done?

There is no blame game here being testified, but 'lawlessness' happening continuously in arguing and fighting, discussion that deviate from initial discussed matter and never come in justified Scripture conclusion and fixed, but rather in carnal/flesh attitude make this 'a market place', where 'robbers and thieves hide' from going out there and living and preaching the Gospel, whose attitude remain the same, babes in CHRIST, 'ever learning but never come into the knowledge of the truth', compromises, 'neither here of there', live to debate, ignore 'Agape' towards one another first, according to the New Covenant doctrine of 'unity', that effects those who are 'weak in conscience', who have raised their concerns,as they are tempted to become like one, but their conscience forbids and they tried to highlight.

Yes, we are in the covenant with all the born again,

but we are in covenant (in promisory relationship) with God only.

The law of Christ (Mt 7:37-39) is not the basis of the New Covenant,
nor is it the terms on which it is set up.

The terms of the new covenant are those stated in Jer 31:31-34:
God will put in their minds and write on their hearts his law of his new covenant,
and will forgive their sins, remembering them no more.

Obedience to God's new covenant law of Christ is what God promises and fulfills in the New Covenant
by putting that law in their minds and writing it on their hearts, causing them to understand and

The new covenant promises and gives a transformed mind and heart, which are the new creation.

Since you are that special new creation that 'a' Covenant is written in you, as today's new creation, from what has been promised by GOD through the Prophets to the Jews first to put in their hearts and the first witness and their fruits among many and has been documented about them for us to witness and imitate in the written, especially about them in the New Testament, then as the wisest person among many, answer my question posted to you earlier, either to sit or stand while we pray in 'a gathering'?

How did JESUS taught you and others who are with you, specifically and specially and differently? Or do you like as Apostle Paul proclaimed to his church in his epistle, they who are accepting or have accepted another Gospel, another Jesus and another spirit and are 'bewitched'?

That which you testify as 'promisory relationship' with GOD, can only happen, when you truly 'abide' in the words and love Teachings written in the New Testament/Covenant under 'one body of CHRIST' wherever and whenever we may live to testify which is documented for even our today's witnessing, in order to distinguish between the spirit of error and the spirit within the church of truth.

This is the documented JESUS, taught and highlighted by the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT said to be awake and alert to;

"Your worst enemy will be in your own household."

This HE wrote for all of us to witness even today, as the same HE faced that day by Judas Iscariot. HE even went on to also say that;

"You cannot give what is Good and Holy to dogs. For it will only turn around and bite you." (as well as the parables about the swine)

I have to agree with you 100% I really do enjoy speaking with JWs and Mormons especially so because I believe the majority of them are wholeheartedly seeking the truth. The real truth.

They bring up Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Often it is one of their questions as to why I believe JESUS is the one true GOD. And if He is so then why didn't He have authority before. I just reply, 'Well...when He finally gave Himself up to the Father that was the beginning of when JESUS was going to take away the authority from Satan. His resurrection proved and that He is the unbelievable truth. He conquered death.

Those that took Him to the cross believed one you only live once. JESUS says, 'I will see you in three days'. Isn't JESUS just so amazing.

Keep doing what you are doing Cycel. I love reading testimonies of Christians planting the seed in the lost through the power of the Holy Spirit. They must be saved by our Lord and our GOD. JESUS.

But why start me for? What led you to pick on a Christian who wasn't looking for an argument in the beginning. I was in support of the poster of the Thread.

Don't go around starting a fight when there wasn't one to begin with alright. Wasn't needed nor was it justified on your part mate. Must've thought I was a noobie in the Lord. No way man...I'm 41yrs old. I have had the Lord for 35yrs of my life.

I do apologize for what I wrote because I can seeing that I am a real man.

Well, I was reading through this thread-- all the support for IAm3rd and then the predictions of disaster on this thread-- when I unfortunately encountered quarreling. A little surprising. Since this thread is about IAm3rd leaving, I won't write anything here on this but will begin a thread on it. The endless bickering, quarreling, and fighting on this site made also made me nearly leave several times. Because of all of it, I went from reading about twenty different threads a day to between two and five whenever I get around to it in the week. I hope all is well with IAm3rd. I'm right behind you, buddy.

It's no surprise. Your avatar explains this 'mystery': when people take a part of God and reject the rest, it is impossible for them to live right. As smart as such people pretend to be or think they are (as they pick and choose from God's Word what they want), their ungodly behavior and attitudes prove that God (in His command that we receive all of His Word) is wiser still.

Amen to that. Not a plea or a suggestion; not a request or an admonition; a command, because Christians will be judged by their love for God, then for fellow Christians, then for others. The world knows authentic Christians only by their Love; love for brethren proves that a Christian has eternal Life (1Jn. 3:14); loving like God loves 100% exempts ​(now that's 'Life insurance') Christians from judgment (1Jn. 4:17-18).
