when did he receive the wound?,,,notice that at the time the Revelations was given to John(2000 years ago) he(the beast that was and was not yet is),,,,was already in the pit he had already(received his deadly wound,,Rev. 17;8=past tense),,compare it to (rev.13;3)"one of his head as it were wounded unto death",,,,but then afterward the two horned beast gives life back unto it(heals it's wound,,,rev.13;14-15),,,

I find this very helpful (REVELATIONS 1;19),,,things that are,that were,and must come to pass,,or "past,present future" so at the time John was given this Revelation 1/3(aprox) was past tense(happened before John was on Patmos=past tense) 1/3(aprox.) was going on while he was on patmos,,and 1/3(aprox.) was future tense to John in ad95,,,

So the wound in the head of the beast(one of his heads),,if it was in the pit at the time(present tense to John on Patmos/ad95),,rev.17;8(notice it is wounded already),,so then in (rev. 13;14-15) the two horned beast heals the wound and it comes back from the pit(future tense to John/ad95),,,,so the head was wounded in ad95 and in the pit,,and after this is brought into the earth and then is cast into the lake of fire,,,,,,,,,,,,but some see that he is still to come and then be wounded,,but what does it say?

So do you have a candidate in mind......who do you think it was or is? Does it not imply that it has to be a world wide figure that is recognizable for ALL the world to wonder after the beast who was, is not and yet is?.......?

1. Who do you believe the 7th empire of "short space" of Revelation 17:10 could be?
2. Who could the Babylon of Revelation 18 be?

I personally believe the Babylon A.D. of Revelation is N.Y. and the Daughter of BABYLON of Psalm 137, Jeremiah 50-51 is the U.S.

Islamic tradition, believe Islam will rule the world lead by Mahdi. It understandable. If we watch Chinese Kung Fu movie, and if the story about Chinese martial art against Japan martial art, in the end of the story, Chinese martial art is the winner.

(He was once also quite against the errors in Catholicism, but now has some ecumenicism going, I wonder if it doesn't involve financial support.) But there's this man Richard Coombes who has a presentation over a couple hours long on YouTube on this subject, and it's comprehensive, I recall only one thing in his presentation I couldn't readily agree with, forget what it was, but an excellent presentation. Mr. Coombes is not some whackjob, either, was once part of Moody Bible Institute. In addition to what you mentioned, there's other juicy stuff in Isaiah 13,18,23,24 - Zechariah 2 - Jeremiah 47.

Many will believe in his teaching because he will perform many miracles imitating Jesus, and once he gains control of the world he will kill anyone who is opposed to his teaching, he will call himself God in the flesh, and place his mark on everyone who wants to be gods in the flesh.

Last time peeps, Antichrist is a spirit not a person and if you read John states this clearly in 1 & 2 John.

The actual person that is discussed in Revelation is not named the antichrist, he is named the beast, he is raised up by Satan, given power and the spirit of antichrist through the false prophet. The False prophet compel mankind to receive the mark of the beast.

It may seem like I am splitting frog hairs, but the body needs to get this straight and stop frothing back traditions that are not true according to the word., because we are watching it all unfold now and we need our churches and sons and daughters lined up with the word

Yes and how she falls is found in Isaiah 21:1-9.....I also agree with the chapters above and have studied this intently for about 7 years now.......Four to SIX years ago I taught the following as well...

1. The deposing of Mubarak in Egypt, coming on line of a prince for a short season Morsi and WICKED king on line after Morsi current guy.
2. Deposing of the leader of Libya
3. WE WOULD BE OVERFLYING SYRIA and BOMBING in SYRIA before the end of the age..

etc....THE burdens AND woes of Isaiah and Jeremiah tell the story of the end of that age as blended in with the present context when they were written.....Ezekiel also has info that pertains to the Daughter of BABYLON as well

No doubt....there are some 80 characteristics found and the math works out to 10.5 billion to one that the Daughter of Babylon is the U.S. and N.Y. is BABYLON A.D. Google Babylon Long Island...came into existence in 1872 when the Jews who settled there named it such as it reminded them of their Babylonian captivity.....
