My Dearest BananaPie,

You are the most godly woman I have ever been around and my precious, cherished treasure from the Lord. You are a tremendous blessing to me and I pray every day that He will bless you in every way possible through me.

As we knit our hearts together along with the Holy Spirit I will do my best to serve in any capacity I am able in order to achieve our mutual goal of being obedient to the Holy Spirit and following Him along the path that He has laid before us.

Let us never forget who we are in Christ and Who we represent.

I love you!

In Christ with you forever,

AlaskaRick

Now that is sweet. Very sweet.

I don't know what I would say to my future wife. And anything I could think to say seems personalish. But I want to try :)

Dearest wife of my future.
I do not know who you are, but I pray God brought us together.
I know without a doubt that I will love you more than anyone else on this world. And that we can together love Jesus.
I will fail, no matter how hard I try. I will mess up. But I pray your love endures forever. Though better and worse. To death do us part.
There will be times I need you more than you can ever imagine. You will be something I can hold to as this battle for God gets rough.
But I want you to know, that I love you. I love you very much.

I admit, that is weird posting... But lets do it :)

Dear Sir Sunshine

Where have you been all my life? I have looked for you high and low....when I was younger that is.... At 40 I gave up and just wandered in the valley of I quit....they don't exist, they want Barbie Dolls, they want children (to marry), I'm too old and they don't want me anymore....you know I really quit even looking.

I forgot how to flirt, and didn't want to, I decided that I would live alone the rest of my life as I could never face another divorce again it was far too painful. I let myself go and I wanted to be left alone.

Then I thought one day about 10 years ago that I would join a letter writing dating group for people over 40 and a Christian online dating site. I even got the applications to fill out for both and filled them out, but I made a discovery as I was answering the questions.... That I really wasn't that good of a Christian and that I wouldn't want to date me so I felt my chances were slim to none that anyone else would want to either so I either tossed the applications or they are lost in the black hole somewhere inside my house...I really gave up finding you.

So in June of 2013 I was laid off from my job of 25 years and I remember coming home and sitting on the couch a little stunned saying out loud o.k. Lord what do I do now? After about 10 days I realized I had saved a nickel or two and that I only needed 3 1/2 years to collect social security and I decided those nickels could get me to retirement.... So then I relaxed and hung out at the pool and did pretty much what ever I wanted within financial reason...

In October of 2013 I wanted to join some kind of a internet site which I had never really done before so I found Christian Chat and joined as JesusLives. I am a Blond, but truly I had no clue of what to do on the site or even how to navigate it. I stumbled and fumbled finally figured out how to get in the Bible Discussion forum and within two weeks was called a Judaizer... Kind of hurt my feelings really as I had just joined the site trying to make new friends and fellowship with other Christians and sharing God's word.... I wanted to get defensive, but instead I talked to God about it and I came to the conclusion that I should always respond in a manner that would be kind and loving as Jesus would respond.

So I learned that if I made friends that I could see where they were posting and join in on the conversations I had also heard the term Troll and I set about trolling myself only I was trolling for friends. The more I had the more choices I had for different threads to join different conversations. While doing this I found like minded Christians and enjoyed their posts and would follow where they would lead into different threads.

Then I noticed a new guy on the site who's responses were close to how I would post plus there was humor in his responses and he personal messaged me... a few times and then disappeared back into the crowd. Being as I had forgotten how to flirt 20 years out of practice I let it go....

But then there was that lonely post and my heart reaches out to help just because it is in my nature to do so giving a word of encouragement is not a hard thing to do and I broke down and sent a personal message with a phone number to that lonely soul. Look where we are now?

You taught me how to flirt again, you put a smile back on my face, there is now a spring in my step, and walking to the mailbox is no longer a chore, you love God as much if not more than I do, and you faithfully attend church and like it just like I do, we both laugh a lot and you love and accept me for who I am as I accept you for who you are. We are perfect for each other and it was God who brought us here and let us find each other on this site. Quit is no longer a word in my vocabulary as it has been replaced with a new phrase - New beginnings.

I will love you with all my heart and I look forward to the day we say I Do and it will be until death we do part...Thank you for all the prayers that you said, because I didn't know what to ask God for, you prayed for both of us I never knew that I would be the answer to your prayers....Thank You God for bringing Jerry to me....Darlene/JesusLives

Gonna probably cry now. No 'quit' in me either anymore. This was 'quite' a letter and I will cherish it. It is as beautiful as the woman who wrote it and as deep as her love for me. I love you with all of my heart too. God is good and life is worth living again, and living well with you by my side.

Dear Future Husband,

Isn't it great that we both love cats?!
And it was such a great idea to fill the spare bedroom full of pillows to dive into and roll around when we're having a bad day! Wheeeeee! Steamroller!!

Love, your goofy and lovable lady and wife.
I am glad we 'get' each other.

Dear Future Husband,

I love you. I love you even though I don't know who you are yet. I love you and I have been waiting for you all my life. I love you and I have been saving everything I have just for you because I believe you are worth waiting for. I love you. I know you are God's special gift to me.

I miss you everyday. I long to be with you now. I want to talk to you, to create memories with you and to know God more with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you...and I want to start it now.

How I long to be with you, but I know God has a perfect time for that, so I will just wait for it as He prepares me for that big day. Ohhh.... I can't wait for the day when I change my name. I can't wait for day when I have to say 'I do'.

Please wait for me.

I am just here waiting for you.

I love you forever.

Love,
Me

Dear husband......

First I want to say I'm sorry.....I'm sorry for taking so long to understand I need you....for being stubborn and trying so hard to do this walk alone.....I'm tired now...and I'm ready to finally allow
and trust that you will not destroy my heart like others...to trust you have my best interest in
your heart...and that you put God first...I've been working hard while I've waited .....trying to take care
of everything...keeping my studies...loving others as I'm commanded...I will make you proud that
I'm your wife...and that I was worth the wait......in Gods perfect time....
Always and forever......Joanne...

Dear Husband,

I had a dream the other night, we were holding hands and we were surrounded by tall buildings, the tallest buildings i had ever seen and i was sure i had never been to that place, and i couldnt see ur face but i was sure that i had never met you because i could not recognise your voice. Upon waking i was filled with indescribable joy and peace and at that moment i knew that you were real and you are out there! That my man of excellence is not just a wish list compiled by a single/lonely/frustrated 30 something but it comes from above and it is indeed from a woman who has dated in the world and also in the Kingdom and decided to wait for the real thing!

My husband, i will keep praying for you because the expectations on this side, are high!lol! I hope that by the time we meet you have become a man after God's own heart, like King David and that he grants you the wisdom of Solomon, not his womanising ways but he did write Songs of Songs, so i do hope that you do know how to keep a woman happy and to please her! Please be a dreamer like Joseph, you must have a vision for life and some ambition in you, must dream to excel and be ahead for the Lord has made us in his image and we are to be the head and not the tail!

You will be the king of our household and together we will bring beautiful children into this world and raise them in the word! Be sure that i am getting ready for you, i am studying the word, learning how to be a prayer warrior, furthering my education, learning new things, because you deserve the best!

Dont keep me waiting for long, i am already head over heels in love with you and cant wait to meet you!

Patiently waiting!
