This Blond has been told more than once she is going to hell and then there was that one time I was called a demon or having a demon they were confused cause I am really just a Blond. I admit it can confuse people. But then again thanks for the compliment as they also in Jesus day told Jesus He was or had a demon....hummmm, maybe Jesus was a Blond? I dunno.... The Blond is still here though gonna have to do more than that to scare me away....

Not sure, sometimes I have been confronted when I had no clue I had offended. Often it is in their mis-reading into what I was saying...a matter of cross cues.
You know cross note I do completely understand that, I have been known a time or to to mistake a meaning of a post...or three or four... :)

The BDF is only one of many forums on CC. The tone here can get competitive and even a bit nasty at times, but people should realize that dearly cherished Bible dogmas are not going to be given up without a fight.

If things get hot here, then get out of the kitchen. I would suggest the Prayer Forum, where the threads often run to 3 or 4 posts. I know we could all benefit from praying for the needs expressed, instead of duking it out here or leaving.

Of course, we could also work on arguing in love, if there is such a thing!
Lol yes and go back to the CSF!!! Lol ;)

Other factor here is reasons for being on the site/perceptions of it-

1) site is a primary source of christian fellowship for the person due maybe to isolation or maybe someone is confined to being at home. What affect does it have on them if they are encountering criticism/resistance in these forums?

2) site is just digital is and os.. the person chats occasionally in the site and posts in forums.. but is relatively unaffected by criticism etc..

3) site is actually considered the person's church- the person applies scripture intended for church interactions and standards to the chat rooms and the forums.

4) plus other situations

I guess I have been a bit of a challenger when it comes to biblical teaching on this site. But of course there is a difference between saying 'this is what the bible really teaches about this' and 'you are a ...........'

I am here to talk about a major problem we have been having in cc. There is a huge lack of love in many of our hearts, there are many judgmental self righteous and condemning ppl and it is scaring ppl away. I have seen many dear friends leave cc because they were treated with judgmental attitudes from people who call themselves Christians but have no love in their hearts.

honestly my heart has been broken many times because some amazing and beautiful ppl who became dear and cherished friends to me have been scared away because of such attitudes, I help ppl mainly through pm and many new believers I came to into contact with have either been driven away because of such ppl or asked me if this is what it means to be a Christian.

we never really know or see the damage our words have until its too late, many do not see the damage they are doing or the ppl they are scaring away but I do. I have said it many times and I will say it again we are to be love
BLAI! BLAIN! She hit me! Here is your major problem! hehe

Keeping in mind that Paul did not appear loving when defending the gospel against a false gospel of works.

Nor did Jesus when dealing with the Phairsees' perversion of God's revelation.

Some things were given absolutely no quarter with Jesus or Paul, but were adamantly rejected.

So as Angela says, if you can't take the heat, perhaps you should not be in the kitchen
defending the gospel of grace against those who would corrupt it.
