I'm not sure I understand "gay" Christians... It is completely against the Word of God. Yes, when people are saved the change doesn't always happen over night. Sometimes, it's a process that takes time. The Holy Spirit changing us from the inside out. I've had my share of sins and lifestyles that God delivered me from... some things over night, some He's still working on and in, but being a Christian of 20 years and still being gay (not "struggling" with the sin or whatever, ...but continually being involved in such acts and lifestyles) just does not make sense to me. We don't even have to struggle with sin. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says that God has provided a way out when temptation comes. Sin is a choice. We have power and authority over sin in the name of Jesus Christ. We can take those thoughts and feelings captive under the obedience of Him. It just blows my mind. Yes, Jesus loves everyone! BUT He does not like sin. Homosexuality is no worse than lying, sin is sin. And sin is NOT ok! Do not be deceived. We cannot change the Word of God to fit our lifestyles and help us to cope with sin. The Word of God is here to stay and doesn't change. Face up to it and be changed! Don't worry about the things you don't want to let go. Focus on God... His wants, desires and likes will become yours! His dislikes will become yours! This status was a little hard for me to post... but It's time that someone says something and stands up for God. Not that any of you aren't this is not directed to anyone specific, but rather a random ramble, something that is heavy on my heart right now. Thanks for reading!
