I don't get how someone could get a piece of paper and turn it into an ouija board or buy it at toys"r"us. It's dangerous to dabble with dark spirits and some people unfortunately get possessed by an evil demon who pretends to be your friend or is a deceased loved one and others wind up dead. I've heard of someone mentioning a demon named Zozo who is apparently a strong and deadly evil spirit. I feel bad for these people but at the same time, there have been warnings not to contact the spirit world but they r just too curious for their own good. It amazes me that it works in the first place.

They exist, they are not a good idea, we should avoid them. All this is true. But it is not profitable to dwell on evil.

Demons are all over the world and they are closer than you think. You mess with them, they mess with you it's that simple. I couldn't say it any better than that.

Curiousity is the main reason, ppl have always been curious of the supernatural and they often times go to demons to get their fill.

Never played it. Funny story: when I was in elementary school, it was show and tell and someone brought their board in lol. Obviously, I never went near it.

People know smoking causes cancer, does that stop people? People know drinking can lead to any number of harmful ends, does that stop drinking? People know a lot of things are bad for them, but that doesn't stop them. But, in reality, non-Christians are not going to avoid things the bible speaks against because they don't know and probably wouldn't believe it anyways. Why is it a big surprise non-Christians engage in such activity?

I see a lot of people who have messed around with them, and they did it just because they thought it was a game and not real.
They wanted to scare the crap out of their friends, but they don't understand is that it is very real.
My sister use to do séances when we were younger, she tried to bring my uncle through and said she saw him and then after that she said she saw a skin colored skull with red eyes coming through also.
She has never done another séance since, and is a devoted follower of Christ now.

Decades ago, in the early 90's, I bought a Ouija board at a yard sale for like maybe two dollars or so. I took it home and used it, asking it questions. All of a sudden, EVERY light in the house went off, the tv, radio, etc.!! It was snap, crackle, pop!!That scared the crap outta me and I threw it out that very same day! Needless to say I have never used one since..

I believe stuff like this is best left alone, heard too many stories and I don't want to take a chance with it.

Two reasons why people mess with quija boards.

1. They don't believe in the supernatural so they feel safe and don't truly believe that anything will happen.

2. They firmly believe in the supernatural and don't have a proper Christian foundation/don't understand or believe the dangers.

Some use it just for fun, not really expecting anything to happen. Others use it to scare/ impress their friends and get kicks out of it.. I would leave it alone..

Honestly i think it just depends. The game was built on psychological thrill principles so as long as you believe something bad will happen, then it will happen. If you don't think anything will happen, then it won't. LOL i find it hilarious there is now a printable version.

In my past I was intrigued by Ouija boards. I never messed with one. I thought about using one. I watched a video on YouTube of a girl using one and while she was playing with it she begain to scream. As time went by I went to church. And one of the leaders there asked me by the Spirit "What is with you and Ouija boards?" She had a word of knowledge. keep in mind I never messed with one. That taught me that God is really concerned about anyone with any regard towards Ouija boards

Growing up with small christian influence in my life (I wouldn't call myself non-christian- but young and unmentored). Some of my friends sleepover party's would play it. Everyone was so sure it was another person moving it. Sometimes answers were jibberish. I only remember this one time asking who actually killed Kurt Cobain, in which we recieved an answer. I dunno. Like do they have some witch or satanic ritual at the factory along the assembly line while these boards are made. (Hehe that would make for a funny cartoon if the guy messed up on the assembly line and the Monopoly boards were cursed). OK. Anyways, I dunno.

I used a Ouija board once by myself - but the pointer moved away from the ouija board and moved over to my Hungry-Hungry Hippo game (I guess the ghost was of a young child or a very immature man that was deprived of that beloved game when he was growing up).

Suffice to say, I beat him 9 out of 10 games (my hippo won't be hungry for a while).

Courtney Love- of course- with a knife, it said lol. A knife!
What's interesting about that to me is that she was his wife and we all know that words can cut like a knife. o_o I read that in his suicide note he had some very harsh words for her too..

Anyway, I've had some weird experiences with ouija boards and sometimes they (the spirits) do try to be funny too.

But now I know that ouija boards can be a dangerous 'toy' and shouldn't be played with.

Hey, what's the best way to freak out a room full of kids under the age of 15? A Ouija board! The only problem is, once you figure out how they work, Ouija boards lose pretty much all of their appeal. It turns out that a bunch of people subconsciously tugging on a piece of plastic just isn't all that bone-chilling.
