We all are cinder. We're all pseudo-adults. The whole being grown-up thing is just an act.

Hi, I feel like I haven't been on here for weeks. I think it's been 2 days. Subscribed to two dating sites for the heck of it.
 
Passing out at work.... Worked 14 hours yesterday, off in 3 hours, hope I can last
 
I woke up late so I wasn't able to call the vet, though Mocha IS doing better. I'll still probably have to call the vet so that way we can get a first time checkup in with them, get them all the info...I'm not completely sure if I want to fully switch over to the new vet yet, but it all depends on whether they do better with him or not. I've enjoyed the vet clinic I've been going to because they've done well with checkups and stuff, but it seems like they're lacking in this department, which is pretty basic, really...
 
Things I have accomplished so far today:

Sunburned my shoulders
Made three paper airplanes (all total failures)
Got turned into a watermelon multiple times
Picked flowers
Ran from bees
Picked up a boxelder bug and had to give it a name
Walked to the store and let a three year old choose a snack (M&Ms, go figure)
Got turned into a watermelon again
Drew a dragon on the porch with sidewalk chalk
Got lost in a jungle
Demonstrated (accidentally) what gravity is

If the day gets any fuller, I'll be wiped out by 7 p.m.

...bring it on...
 
It's beautiful outside today. The dogs have been loving it. The fresh air must feel good to Mocha and his ear because he'll go outside and just lay down with his bad ear up facing where the wind is blowing. He hasn't dug at his ear all day today, and he's shook his head less.

Aw man, I hate it when that happens...
 
After a week of downing a BFF's cooking (ribs, steak, the best grilled cheese you've ever had, homemade tomato soup), treats I usually choose to bypass (rice krispie treats, brownies, fruit'n'coconut cookies), and lounging around in good old-fashioned sweat pants (sweat pants, not yoga pants! Heavens no!), my greatest accomplishment this week was actually fitting into a pair of normal pants.

However, I refuse to actually step on the scale until I've had a few more days of going back to a more normal routing. I figure, managing one out of two ain't all bad.
 
My work puts me in interesting places sometimes. Like just this morning I traveled west and the commute took over an hour and had front row seats to the lunar eclipse. Saw the whole thing! And then there's this place. I think it was meant to be a training area for medical? Not sure and I don't ask. Just do my thing, but then I run across this.... what's wrong with this picture?

Between ghosts sighting, possessed elevators (that was you right?), the homeless mans chicken bone mess and now random legs hanging from a cardboard box- I must say you lead an interesting life at work.
 
It was math homework night tonight, it wasn't bad, thank you Jesus. I'm going to bed! :)
