How could they know what was good ?
Does a child know what is good when they are born ?
Because life is not about "good or evil". The bible says that a live dog is better than a dead lion. It is the living who praise God's name. The dead knows nothing.
A child is as Adam was. He only knows God. A baby who cannot walk or talk and can only cry is not concerned that his daddy is a drug dealer or a cop.

A baby knows nothing but God when it comes into the world. Now if that baby was born in a poor neighborhood to KKK parents, odds are the baby will learn that knowledge too. We pass on this dead eat of living to our children, and them to their children.

This is what the bible describes as sons of god taking daughters of men. The baby grew to know that particular knowledge of man and accepted it.
