Are you saying God created the Tree of Life after Adam and Eve sinned, then closed it off lest they eat of it? I don't read it that way at all. Rather, this is what God said before the sin:
Genesis 2:9 (KJV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Both were good for food and were ornamental plants, but the latter prohibited of them.

Then, after sinning, God removed them from the tree of life by closing the Garden. Adam inherited eternal death instead of keeping access to eternal life. He began with open access to the good thing, called good for food even, ended with the evil.

if they were eating out of the tree of life they would have lived forever in sin after eating out of the tree of KGE

This is incorrect before creation there was no darkness because darkness is something and it was created by God

God is light therefore one can conclude that light existed with God all the time

Also the ligt in Genesis is for the earth not the third heaven
Very good reasoning by man, but scripture says in the beginning was darkness. That word darkness is translated from the word Choshek.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

on what day did God create water ?

Why were these two trees not put on the other side of the world in an area so remote we still wouldn't have found them? The other option was to put them on an uninhabited world in another star system; but no, they were put in the middle of the garden in plain sight. Does this not seem odd to you? Why set Adam and Eve up for failure that way?

Did God create this darkness and when ?

Where do you think the garden is ?

To help overcome the ridiculous factor and embarrassment of believing something like the Garden of Eden is real, many people resort to thinking it is just a metaphor , figurative or whatever, anything other than being real. FOr me the Tree of knowledge is a real tree , was it destroyed or hidden away, no idea. Probably destroyed with rest of Eden.

The four rivers that exist today from whence are their source ?

I agree with this for real.....!

Do these rivers still exist today ?

If they do what and where is there source of water ?

Genesis 2:10-14King James Version (KJV)

10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

So many mysteries regarding Genesis...
Gen 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

where did the watery depths/surface of the waters come from? God had yet to form the seas?

Well, personally I believe this grand experiment under the sun was designed to give every spirit in God's kingdom a chance to choose between the kingdom of the Heavenly Father and the fallen kingdom of Satan....based upon a handful of scriptures that hint to the why's of this world...even Jesus was given good things at an early age so as to learn to choose the good over the evil....and Jesus (The very eternal son of God) had to choose.....and like Jeremiah....God said I knew thee before I brought you forth from your mothers womb....study the word knew....and the spirit that man has RETURNS unto God which GAVE it upon death....definitely not in the sense of reincarnation as that is bogus for sure.....!

No doubt and the darkness was already here as well......and you know what I think about it for sure....!

There were two trees. If they were both destroyed, or hidden away, then why put them front and centre in the garden in the first place?

The waters preceded the creation process. That is what I think and I am not alone. It certainly does not say the waters were created by God.

Below is a diagram of what I think the creation account describes.

Where did the water come from if God did not create it ?

When were the other planets created ?

Where did the water come from if God did not create it ?
From an earlier time if you like, but there is no mention of the water's creation. Genesis does not explain where the water came from, it is simply there and God is described as hovering over it.

My son’s New Oxford Annotated Bible explains that “the text does not describe creation out of nothing (contrast 2 Macc 7.28). Instead, the story emphasizes how God creates order from a watery chaos.” (NOAB, p. 11)

When were the planets created? On day four when the stars and the greater and lesser light were formed.

“In a critical response to non-Israelite cultures who worshiped these heavenly bodies, the bodies are not named and are identified as mere timekeepers.” (NOAB, p. 12)

I agree. Obviously they had not eaten of the tree of life yet. God separated them from it before they ate, after sinning. Genesis 3:22-23 (KJV)
[SUP]22 [/SUP] And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
[SUP]23 [/SUP] Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

You did not answer my questions. Perhaps you don't have an answer that make sense even to you?
