Some Christian bumper stickers and t-shirts:

"The bread of life never gets stale." Um...what? lol

"Jesus is my co-pilot." Oh dear...

"God will never give you more than you can handle."

That's one that I'm surprised to see a lot of Christians say.

If we're talking real pet peeves, though, one of my biggest are the guys who preach and act righteous on Facebook. Basically I have this Facebook friend who does that often, and it's often about how guys should treat their girlfriends (even though he is single). He also will refer to other guys as "brother" and things like that. It just seems to me that things like that make Christians come off as weird and cultish.
This guy also posts funny statements that very often aren't original, but he doesn't post them with quotations or even credit the original source. That's not necessarily a Christian pet peeve, but it is still a pet peeve haha.

An even bigger pet peeve is those guys, usually my age, who post really condescending memes about people who don't believe in Calvinism like they do. (And this is coming from a Calvinist.) And really condescending Christian memes in general are annoying.

And one other would be those who really love the hard-hitting pastors for the sake of the hard-hitting-ness. Like, "That sermon was so totally awesome! I got totally punched in the face with that!" Paul Washer is a perfect example. I've got nothing much against him, but I know guys who love him mainly because of how he communicates instead of what he communicates.

Cleanliness is next to godliness... um... then why was Jesus born in a stable?

People who are territorial about their seats in church. If a visitor happens to get your seat, it'll do you good to sit somewhere else. You were getting too comfortable there anyway.

People who gossip during church. It's not bad enough you tear people down, you have to do it while the preacher is trying to preach?

I guess I understand on some level all of the bumper stickers people put on their cars, etc., but it sure would be awesome if people could tell they were believers by their actions rather than some canned, overused slogans.

I think I haven't been a Christian long enough to get "peeved" by many of the things you guys have mentioned yet.

I am always excited about the things of God and to see others excited about God.

I am really happy I haven't reached that stage and I hope I never do though I understand how frustrating Christians can be.

Oh yeah, I can't stand these non-scriptural terms and meanings, especially the futuristic ones;

The tribulation
The rapture
second coming
the trinity
sinner saved by grace
the millennium
any fancy term made up in theology school
and any of the catholic words and terms now especially,

WWJD

What would Jesus do? I don't think Jesus would pay that much for a shirt just because it has four letters on it.

Sunday christians. Christians who act righteous at church, then cuss the waiter out at the restaurant.

Kinda reminds me of this:

You may not see the connection at first, but impostors are impostors.

Repeating the same phrase over and over and over in a prayer really bothers me.
Along with being REALLY wordy during prayer. -- I might get some criticism for this one.

People who think every overweight person is gluttonous. Clearly they don't understand the word at all.

It's a joy to see God moving in your life. :) Your passion is contagious.

I think, from reading this forum, the frustration is not really with other believers, but it's the commercialism of our faith we find bothersome, along with the frustration of folks who would rather mimic the words/thoughts of others than seek fresh wisdom from the Word and the Lord, Himself, you know? It's.....lukewarmness.

[Revelation 3: [SUP]14 [/SUP]“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. [SUP]15 [/SUP]I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! [SUP]16 [/SUP]So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. [SUP]17 [/SUP]You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. [SUP]18 [/SUP]I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”]

It's dangerous ( It's not really a peeve....just makes me very, very....sad. :(

One thing that HAS been a peeve to me is seeing older believers discouraging younger ones. I've actually heard some mock/complain about the passion of new believers, to which others have responded, "They'll get over it."

NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER "get over it"! BURN! As brightly as you can! :)
